I get that on and off, assuming you mean like an intense, sharp pain for a few seconds every so often.

He said it was from bad posture, if I straighten my back and take a few slow deep breaths it goes away.

I used to have this quite often, I asked my doctor about it but he said i shouldnt worry about it.
All he asked if my endurance was sub par, but it wasn't so I guess you shouldn't worry either.

I did however have pneumothorax and it was a similar pain, but way more intense and I legitimetly thought was dieing when it happend. Any way, the reason it happend to me was because i'm tall and slim and that increases chances of that shit happening randomly. It's one of the reasons I started exercising.

Conclusion being, you probably have nothing to worry about, but if it keeps persisting you might want to ask your doctor about it.
