I had my first one yesterday while squatting. Absolutely excruciating. Does anybody else have them? Prevention? Treatment?

i dont think it is this. I am on a cut and my diet is fairly consistent.

They primarily happen when you don't breathe properly. Don't hold your breathe too long. Did alot of research on them when I had one during a bench session. Never happened again. Take care of it, the effects can last weeks/months depending on severity.

I once exercise induced migrains.
For months i couldn't go up more than 3 steps on a ladder or ever walk to harshly without feeling that my head would split open.
The doctor said that migrains are common on people of that age, mine just had an unusual trigger.
I was getting so much better too. Then right before my eyes my progress became a joke.
Did anyone else had this too?

If you low-bar squat stop looking up, focus on a spot ~9 feet in front of you and don't look anywhere else

I pulled a neck muscle that goes up behind the ear from something. Caused fucking awful headaches and was generally complete shit for days.

I had them for three months before i stopped lifting to avoid them. I went back about six months later and they were gone. Maybe two years after that i got them again for a week or so; I switched programs and they went away on their own. I think theyre symptomatic of overtraining. Both times I got them when i plateaued at squat.
