But here is my recipe:

2 cups oats
1/2cup cut and blanched almonds
2 tablespoons of peanut butter

I make a different type of this since I'm cutting and it's 390 kcal a bowl.

1 packet of instant banana bread oats (~40g oats +5-6g of the banana flavoring)
0.5 cup of rolled oats (~50g)
4 tbsp chocolate pb2, only 90kcal for 4tbsp

pic is the same thing but 3 tbsp of normal pb2 and 2 pieces of rittersport so it's like ~420kcal

Oats are a meme. Yes they are nutritious but so is fucking everything; you hear about how this vegetable and that grain is really nutritious and all, but the thing is nearly all of them are. Nutritionally, your meme food is not significantly superior to say whole wheat bread; both have similar micro profiles(as if any of you fucktards care about micros), and although oats have a higher protein amount you shouldn't rely on fucking oatmeal with its shitty amino-acid profile to hit your protein macros anyway. But most importantly, oats are very filling and bulking on them is a fucking nightmare unless you enjoy shitting your guts out.

I can get eating oats if you are cutting, but if you are not I can see no reason to. Don't you start on le epic glycemic index maymay. Fucking everything makes your blood sugar spike, and GI is measured on people who were on a fasted state. An overall healthy individual should not care about GI.

You want fibre? Eat fruits and vegetables.
You want calories? Eat bread.
You want micros? Eat fruits vegetables.
You want protein? Eat animal products.

None of these taste like garbage if you know how to cook them properly. I feel like I should ridistribute my cals a bunch, I mean my lunch and dinner are at 1000ish, but I eat sub350 at breakfast (250mL milk and 30-50g cereals) and rarely have big snacks.
I thought about adding a couple toasted slices of whole wheat bread with butter, maybe some ham/salmon and a fruit, but I dont really know about snacks, besides full fat yogurt, dry fruit and dark chocolate

Oatmeal with either honey & cinnamon, or peanut butter, or stevia, cinnamon and fruid has become my snack these last 2 weeks, it's something to look forward to when I eat plain chicken breast or boiled eggs and a salad/brown rice for lunch and dinner (cutting hard at 1700kcal/day atm), it keeps me feeling full for longer although it might be a placebo, but it gives me reasons to not eat other shit so I can have that (with peanut butter it's my personal to-die-for snack), and it works anyway so I don't question it too much.
