I just bought these weights and bench for $100. Did I do well? Now I need a squat rack and gym mats.
Please advise.
As long as you use them to lift and not as a towel rack. Also the bar is too small to be Olympic.

The bar looks like some pussy shit but I have another bar I can use if I need.
>>36719199
Not necessarily. Looks like Olympic weights

The weights are definitely Olympic weights and so is the bar; the handle looks wimpier than other bars I've seen
clean it and set it up and post.

How long is the bar? And do the ends revolve smoothly?

Uhh how is a barbell able to fit into a trunk of what looks like a sedan?
Does it like detach into smaller pieces?

the seat goes down in the back.

Go set up your weight set around a park and teach the inner city kids how to lift!
>>36718992
That looks like shit.

Great buy. I'm jelly. My home gym setup is still lacking a bench, a squat rack, and about 150 more lbs of weight.

-unsheathes katana-
shut up dude
>>36718992
set it up, take a picture, come back.

Nah you did bad. Judging by those weights, they look like 5-10 pounds. That's some pussy shit.

psh, nothin personal kid

maybe im too unfamiliar with the imperial measuring system but 1" means one inch to me, which is 2.56cm if i recall correctly. I think the plates at my gym have a far bigger hole, like 5cm atleast. Does "1" " describe a different unit?
>>36721826
won't these break at the first deadlifting session?
>>36721858
i'd imagine giving them some sort of casing, even if it's just a whole lot of duct tape slapped around them, would help
>>36718992
It doesn't seem like you did too bad. Defiantly set it up and share a picture.
Racks can be had pretty cheaply second hand. Congratulations anon to joining the home gym master race.

plasti dip would probably be ideal

cheap barbells are 1" thivk, that's a "standard" barbell
