I've had three punched into my belt from bestbelts, I emailed the owner and asked him this exact question and he said leave a good 15cm of whole material at the "end" of the belt for safe measure.

I don't know if it counts as shoulder prehab, but I like doing really deep, light db benching after pressing to kind of stretch everything out, it feels good mane.

I did, but at least I now know squats caused the tendonitis. Improper grip.
You'll find out pretty quickly if you're technique isn't good after squatting every day. Something will start hurting if it's not perfect.

I did have some elbow/shoulder pains now and then, which was relieved by some pump and fluff work. No tendonitis tho, but I think I got in the early stages of some elbow tendonitis. Can't remember completely. I think this was during fullbody 5x/week.

Only tendonitis I actually had was in the adductor, and occurred shortly after I went to the chiro with my lower back. Lower back hurt constantly on the left side. My glutes were tight and weak (I had no issue with knee caving, for the record), and soon after I started stretching and trying to strengthen them I got adductor tendonitis (presumably) in my left groin. Not sure whether that's a coincidence or not.

So I don't think I can be much of help, unfortunately.

I'm not too sure. I'm still trying to figure that out on my own. When I got elbow tendonistis I had a pretty narrow grip. But the grip wasn't the problem, it was me holding the bar too tight. I was supporting the weight with my hands putting pressure on my wrists which put pressure on my elbows.

I then foolishly attempted a 5x12x110kg narrow stance hb squat with no pauses and constant tension, 90 sec rests... quad pump was SICK but I had to cut my workout short because I nearly threw up, I'll catch up tomorrow.
I think I'll do 3-4 more weeks of this kind of training, then I'll raise the main lifts' freq, do less assistance and generally resume the RTS template with a couple tweaks

plz halp, having bench crises.

Squat c.165kg (hit 155x5), Deadlift's 185kg, but I can barely bench at all.

Currently doing it twice a week for 2x5 (what I do for the squat) and just making no progress what so ever, yet still progressing in other lifts.

Should I just stop aiming to improve the deadlift and the squat and exclusively focus on the bench untill it's semi-acceptable?

Main priority is to fix my APT, because I have lower back pain because of it since months.

I train very high frequency so imagine seeing 180kg squat almost everyday since august. Makes you think youre stuck until zoom out and really see the changes. Im still repping 180 but i plan to do 200 singles soon and hopefully reps by august.

When I've programmed for myself I've used pretty high volume, though not quite as much as CLutz. Right before this I did Bill Starr and it's pretty low volume, though it still worked well. Basically as long as I train my bench consistently it goes up.
