when i touch my chest with the barbell i feel like it takes my chest out of the movement when i push the barbell back up
i feel it more in my arms
but when i stop just before my chest and go back up i feel it all in my chest, anyone else feel this feel?

You're doing something wrong. When i touch my chest with the barbell i feel like god himself smiled and touch his humble lifting son and i swear sometimes i hear faint "we gonna make it brah" when i have hard time lifting especially heavy weight.
are you touching your chest or are you letting it bounce off your chest? be honest with yourself. even if its just a small bounce.
