I have a neck tattoo, I'm a software engineer for a top 20 security firm. I was complimented during my interview by multiple colleagues and still widely respected amongst peers. Of course I get strange looks every now and then, but I present myself as a professional who likes body art. Tattoos are not as taboo compared to 10 years ago.
