I didn't mention anything about being "ripped" which is just a low bf% all I said was he didn't looked developed enough to make those claims. Maybe his form is flawless and his levers optimal and blah blah blah, but probably not. For the sake of probability I'm assuming he's an average male not gear with decent, but not flawless form and genetics. With that in mind he doesn't seem to have developed enough shoulders and and even lats to to make his claim, with some scrutiny or disbelief. A 185 ohp is pretty impressive not to mention a 545 dl. you will still get some kind of muscle development hitting those number even using a functional strength or powerlifting program

Took me a while to figure it all out, but it's starting to shape up and form a coherent system now, which is nice.

Started with a fairly basic 5x5 oriented routine, but now I usually do high intensity triples and doubles. Roughly something along these lines, week by week for a major lift.

Percentages vary by 2.5%. Rinse and repeat, but on occasion I deload to 60% and run 5x5 again, with 2.5 (bench) or 5kg (squat&deadlift) each week increase until fail, then switch back. The increased volume helps you break through plateaus. Hit 5x5x4.5plate DL like that last year.

Before lifting I could notice my right arm being bigger than the left one, now they're pretty much the same. Tennis alone won't make you grow much muscles, and definitely nowhere as much as lifting, so as long as you lift you should be safe from any asymmetry.

Bouldering, do it for fun and exercise, participate in competitions but otherwise only about average. Maybe above average for my build, most competitive climbers are short and otter mode.
