I worked as a manager if crown lands for a couple of years. About half office work and half driving trucks and quads and snowmobiles into the wilderness and hiking and checking out properties and potential land to sell and develop for cottage subdivisions, stuff like that. It was a pretty sweet job, decent pay, fun, easygoing, etc.
I just got laid off two weeks ago so now I'm a neet. Don't really know what I'm qualified to do besides that job and maybe like a park ranger or something, thinking about going back to school.

I'm a warehouse manager. Started from the bottom just doing as I was told, and because I outperformed everyone due to lifting, 3 years later I am in charge and sell my special home made non fda approved pre-workout drinks to the employees every day. 5 bucks per serving so I'm making extra money while also improving the warehouses productivity because everyones pumped up all the time.

CMON!

Seriously though. Warehouses are awesome for /fit/izens. No customer service required so you can even thrive if you are severely autistic. All you need to do is be able to count and lift stuff all day.

Not the guy you are responding to but it highly depends on the area you want to go in to. First I would figure out what area you like best (brand, advertising, social media, demographic analytics, etc.). Marketing is huge and there are so many things you can do with it. I would at least try and get an associate's or see if you have any contacts that can get you a job or internship as a marketing assistant or intern without any normal qualifications.

look up "dog walker" or "dog walking" in google and see if there are any companies in your area; reach out to them and ask if they're hiring. Pretty much the only requirements are being comfortable around dogs and reliable.

You can also make an account on care.com and other similar sites and sort of run your own schedule, but I've found it's a lot better and safer to go through a company because most of them will have you bonded/insured so your ass is covered if anything goes wrong.

Personally, I made an account on care.com and had two companies reach out to me after having found my information on there, but I think that's mostly because there were suddenly a lot of vacancies in my city all at once so your mileage with that may vary.

>How do I into porn?

Take some viagra and film yourself fucking someone. If you can't get anyone you know to agree to it just hire a prostitute.

Don't worry about camera angles. They just want to see that you have a big dick and can control when you shoot your load.

Send it away with your height, dick length and a list of things you're OK with doing/not OK with doing.

If you end up getting an interview with one of them, don't agree to being paid an amount per sale. Make sure you are getting paid per video produced.

I did it 3 times. Only got paid for one of the performances though because the other two I couldn't produce the cum shot due to the camera man staring at me and signaling at me what to do next.
>>

I just got a supervisor job at a supplement store (not gnc, funk those guys). The hiring process was a little grueling with 3 interviews a background and drug test but worth it. I also have a part time job with a mid level designer brand. Not the most money, but I'm hoping to get my own store within a year, they're already talking about trying to get me a an assistant manager after my training and I'll get a raise after my training is complete. I get discounts on all my supps and my clothes, I can take 10 minute breaks to eat, plus my lunch break at both jobs. I only have 4000 dollars left to pay on my student loan from the bank. In a few months I'll be on top of the world. I really want to start coaching/training for a side business. I know I'm not a millionaire, but I think I'll be happy with this for awhile. I never work past 10pm, so I still go, but don't drink cause I'm cutting. Life's okay man
>>
>>36656022
When on an interview don't talk about how strong you are and how much you lift but rather how smart you smart you are and how capable you are to prevent issues.
Instead of being intimidating and mean try to look focus and calm. Nobody wants somebody who loses their shit costing them more money.
The hours depend on your employeer.

You can work normal hours, usually hotels facilitate this but night shifts pay more and less people to deal with really.
Although most times its not a must that you have them is better to be prepared, it shows the employeer that you're serious about it and will have advantages over people who wait to get hired to get the certificates.

Im a UK neighbourhood cop

cardio gains and fat burning from walking ridiculous amounts of miles per day carrying vest + equipment. Also back to the officer for dat der prepped meal. Finish shift and into the gym in the station basement.

Bretty good.

Only downsides is most of the people i speak to hate me, risk of getting knifed everyday, and if i end up with an arrest - i'll be lucky if i get time for drink/food.
>>
>>36656535
>risk of getting knifed everyday

Statistically speaking, you are more at risk of being a civilian getting knifed at random than being knifed while on duty as a police officer in the UK.

Don't lie. You get paid to walk around talking to a female all day long because of dat dere male:female cop ratio.

I'm a software dev. It's pretty nice sitting on my ass all day after a hard workout. Sucks during a cut though. I end up stressing all day about how I'm going to find time to get in some cardio. It doesn't help that my customer is 15 hours off of my time zone right now. Their day starts as I get off, so if I need to communicate with them, it can push my meetings out until 8pm or so. Thank gawd for 24 hour gyms.

Aside from being able to just walk dogs, you should also dog sit, which I am currently doing for a client, it adds extra pay, give meds/injections and this last one isn't necessary but be able to give cpr as it comes in handy and gives owners a sigh of relief knowing if anything goes wrong you can handle yourself.

Munkres is indeed an undergrad text, though useful. I am a grad student and learned from it several years ago. I haven't decided on a research topic yet, but I will do something algebraic topology/homotopy theory related.

Homotopy theory is a big subject and is much more in depth than the fundamental group business you'll find in munkres. If you'd want to learn something read about this https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Equivariant_cohomology I took a class on it last year.

It's changed in America too, cost of living is too high.

I don't know any 18 year olds who are financially independent, either they live at home and work (smart) or they are living on a college campus blowing thousands of dollars paying for a meal plan and getting trashed 4x a week (dumb).

My parents are pretty cool about it though, I have to take out loans to pay for classes but they're fine with me living at home until I either 1. Get a job that requires me to move or 2. Get a job in town and stay home to pay off my loans.

>>36663326
Yeah it's at a college in the UK. Less glamorous as it sounds as I'm new so I've been put on Foundation gcse (what you sit at the end of normal school if you are stupid). Been offered some Higher for next year though. Will be nice to have a group that is actually capable of thought.

>one of my lessons is all rowdy kids doing catering, fashion, travel and tourism etc.
>after 3 months of SS I have put on 15lbs all while teaching them
>one lesson one of the girls just says 'sir do you go to the gym? You've got bigger'
>this continues until a 17 y/o keeps commenting on my muscles, tells me that she likes older men (29) and then straight up asks me out in front of the class.
>she's a cutie too, would have gone with it if it wasn't illegal.
>first student sexual interest in 3 years at the college

Thanks fit

Probably not the colloquial "college" used in NA, right?
God save the Queen
>>
>>36665862
Urrr I don't think so. You can usually only go to college after finishing secondary (high) school at 16. Most of my learners are 16-18s who didn't do well enough in thier gcse at the end of school and are now having to retake it as part of whatever other course they are doing.

Typically if you are smart you go to a sixth form for a-levels and then university at 18.
>>
>>36665913
>now having to retake it
Shit so it's like an adult school? That's gotta suck.

ayy other EMS/Fire bros!

Why is this the only board i see other first responders on?
>>
>>36665959
Yeah that's a better way of putting it. It's actually a nice gig apart from the basic level i'm teaching at. Everyone is at least 16 so typically more mature. I only teach that one thing so only one lesson plan a week. Barely any marking as no coursework.

Generally colleges are much more chill compared to working in schools as no one gives a fuck about adult education except for uni. The pay is slightly less than a schoolteachers but there is so much less hassle it makes it worth it.

Chief engineer on fishing vessel.

Work 9 months straight out at sea and then 3 months off.
Get respected because no one wants to piss off the engineer. Plus we dock in all these exotic places around the globe.

First trip was 120k, second 150k, pay just keeps going up. I'm going to be able to retire in about 4 or 5 years if i'd like and I'm only 26

Funnily enough I have a gf, not married cause I'm not an idiot and if she tries to cuck me I can either dump her as and she gets nothing or "accidentally" cause my boat to sink.

>Sixth form
>underage ban.

I
I started on the boats when I was young (16) and just managed to get my tickets on my trips off. Back then I was doing 6 week trips. Find an institute that allows you to get your class 6 and 5 and then going for your class 4 and 3 you get while doing job experience with bits of study here and there. Then just work your way forward. It takes a long time but it's definitely worth it to know your making bank

You lose a lot of friends and you have to be smart with your money. Everything is free while off shore but I've seen people blow ALOT of money when we dock. Most of them can't even function on land anymore
>>
>>36655579
How much do you earn as a biochemist? Thinking of studying it myself, but I'll have to wait an extra year with uni to wrap up some required courses.
>>
I go to school and make sandwiches i sell every day.
The bakery 100 meters from my apartment sell all bread they haven't sold that day for 50-75% cheaper if you come after 20:00. I i usually go down every night and buy everything that's left. Usually around 10-20 baguettes and 20 french sourdough loafs. Then i cut them into thirds and make sandwiches with uneven cut of meat that the butcher can't sell at normal prices (costs about 7 dollars a pound for roast beef, ham etc.) then i make ham/cheese/roastbeef/chicken/meatball etc sandwiches with different topping depending on whats cheap that week. takes around 2hours everyday, and since my only school cafeteria charge 10 bucks for shit sandwiches i can sell all of them for 5 bucks on my 1 hour lunch break (all student at my uni have lunch at the same time) and i always sit at the same place everyday doing homework while making around 400 dollars of profit a day that i don't tax for 2 hours work. Been doing it since January, but i'll probably get caught soon since it's getting too popular and now i usually run out before everyone who want one gets it.

Only requirement to get the job was be a good sales rep, which I was and wait for the position to open up. Been doing it three years now turning 25 soon. Depends. You have to like pure coding if you're into that.
Logical constructs made of syntax that you have to learn. A new language, kinda.
Operators and such.

Or you could be like me and be more of a designer/developer. I make logo's, websites and applications. Good money, but it takes skill, imagination and practice. I live in a HUGE agricultural city.
There's lots of farmers.
And they are Fucking LOADED with cash.
Some of them just had land and farms passed down the generations and bought new land for more farms.
It will get to the point where you don't even have to get your hands dirty.
You pay others to manage your farm and they worry about hiring the mexicans during harvest.
My friends dad is a farmer and he doesn't do shit except look for more land to expand on.
Every generation gets richer than the last and soon all the land will be my friend's, then he's going to do what his dad does, buy more land, live large, and make sure his offspring lives better than himself.

I feel for you man, I used to work at a upper-class pizza restaurant with bullshit "authentic" Italian sourced ingredents.

Quit because the owner went full skeleton staffing and I was being roughly fucked in the ass for not enough pay. Used to close up at 11PM and leave at 3AM because I was the only one cleaning and the manager was some uptight cunt who never wanted to get her dress dirty.
