I wanna be a fit dad but I'm 5'2 so the chances of a woman wanting to carry my child are very low.
My dad was really fit in his younger days but he developed arthritis and can't walk very far now. It's sad seeing your parents get old.
My dad was a horrible, but fairly impressive person.
He was 5'6 (I'm sure he slouches more now and it's affected his postural height) and was a competitive powerlifter and practiced judo in high school and college. He also holds bachelors degrees in biochemistry and neuroscience, a law degree, and an MD in neurology.
However, he was also an abusive rapist who committed fraud upwards of 2 million dollars, and was arrested before he could make final arrangements for the family to flee the country.
I inherited my love of lifting from him, but I'm afraid of what else he's given me

He's a shell of who he once was. He tried killing himself several times in prison. Two years ago, he was in a car accident and was put into a medically induced coma for almost a month because he was so fat and swelled up so much that they couldn't complete the initial surgery on him.
I don't know where he is now, but he is going to die a sad, lonely old man with nothing.
