I'm 3+ year lifter with shit genetics

110kg 3x5 bench
>>
>>36636853
Would like to know what mode this is
>>
>>36636944

it's downwards lighting mode
>>
3 years? In 4 months I got up to 1 pl8, I think in 3 years considering plateau 2.5 bench should be acceptable.
>>
>>36636853

only 110kg? natural body lifting is a JOKE
>>
all of it

You either haven't lifted for 2 years
Don't eat enough
Don't ever squat
Or don't know how to squat
>>
>>36638016
Das alright, me too m8.
I'm doing almost 2.5pl8 for reps now though because I've finally got my technique down. Another anon linked me this and it changed ma life https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U5zrloYWwxw

after 18 months of lifting i managed to get to 180kg squat x4 with belt(1 raw)
200kg DL x3 raw
110 kg bench x3 raw
Im lean at 190 lbs, 5'11, and i doubt i'll ever get much stronger unless i gain fat (which im not gonna do) or if i jump on roids (which im not gonna do)
So you should be at around 180kg squat 220 kg DL and 120 kg bench at 3 years imho.
>>
>>36638016
This will probably be me in 2 years.

Whatever, I guess I should leave my ego at the door.

Don't you love it when you lift weights? You guys should just concentrate on the things that make you happy in lifting.
>>
>>36636819
depending when you stall and for how long i'd say ~3pl8 bench and ~4pl8 squat are feasible, but without proper dedication most people wouldn't make these numbers. also depends how many cuts you do in those 3 years.
>>
>>36636819
3 years lifting, bad genetics in the sense of long levers, just hit 2pl8 bench, 3 pl8 squat and 4 pl8 dead for that rep range. Granted I hit the deadlift way quicker than the other 2...
>>
This thread is what happens when faggots don't GOMAD.
>>
>>36640428

This... I'm thinking about ignoring all the insecurities I've built up about weight/reps/bodyfat and just enjoy lifting. I'm sure the strength/body comes with the hobby as long as you don't eat like a holocaust victim or Jason Genova.
>>
>>36638016
I'm on 2pl8 after a month mate
>>
i've been lifting 3.5 years and have 4plate dl x2 and 3x5 2pl8 bench, 1pl8 ohp 3x8

i dont squat cause i hate it
>>
2.5pl8 bench at LEAST
And 3pl8 squat at LEAST

Nope, I go atg. Not everyone falls for the SL meme and starts with the bar.
>>
>>36636819
It depends on how you train and how your diet is.
If you're training for strength, you should honestly be benching at least 315 for reps after three years, really closer to 365. If you're training for aesthetics, then it depends on your height because of the amount of mass you'll need to look good. If you're training for a sport, then bench might not be important at all. If you're training for mass, you should be going to decent weight (100kg or so) for sets of 12.
Same goes for all the other lifts, there's no "prescribed weight" you should reach after a certain number of years lifting in general, it all depends on your goals.
Of course you probably already knew that and this is just a shitpost to get people to argue and estat over what training methods are better, whether natty or fraud is better and how weak you are if you can't reach x weight in y years.
>>
>>36642275
Man, there really are people out there who actually things 2pl8 is so significant that it takes months and even years to achieve.
>>
>>36642289
2pl8 should take around 3-5 months for an average joe. If you're a fat ass or skeleton it will take shorter or longer respectively
>>
>>36638016

that's honestly fine

high enough to not have chicken legs and look like you play a sport, while not looking like a t-rex joke

that is, if you can and do 3x12

dude, i'm at 120kg squat at only 5'7 and even i have chicken legs

someone that was 6ft+ would have matchsticks for legs at 2pl8 squat
>>

pretty much this.
>>
>>36642396
How is it disgusting
>>
>>36642341
yeah but I assume this is in terms of bulking or maintaining

what about us cutbrahs? =(
>>
>>36642393
Even if you're genetically gifted, the only way you're squatting 2pl8 in one month is if your fat or have been athletic for most of your life, which the average person isnt.
>>
>>36642417
pretty much the same reason chodes are disgusting to women?

short and thick = disgusting
>>
>>36642341
This is right about what SS/SL aim for
>>
>>36642418
Cutting is a valid excuse.
>>
>>36636819
Dunno but I can lift 275lb 5x5 and have been lifting for about 3 years.

I don't have a spotter so Iv gotta be careful and probably can't go as hard and heavy as others do to make gains.

I'm 6'2 220lb

I don't think it matters where anyone else is. We're all different... I think you just need to make sure you challenge yourself every workout.
>>
>>36640411
weird, those are almost exactly my stats: 5'11" 195lbs, 405 squat, 445 DL, 245 bench. been going to gym for 2yrs, but would say I've been doing actual lifting for 18mos
>>
>>36642432
>caring what women thinks

So you're basically a fucking cuck who only thinks so because women dont like chodes, and you're unable to have your own opinions?
>>
>>36642419
I guess I've just got decent legs then lol
>>
>>36642461
What? That was just an example.

I personally find short and fat quads disgusting. Calm down with your women rant, autist.
>>
>>36642463
Or your form is bad and your compensating with another part of your body, which is much more likely if you just started lifting. I'm not trying to shit on you, I've just seen way too many beginner lifters shit squatting 3pl8 in 6 months with horrific form, but then brag to everyone how strong they are. You may have good strength, but the chances of you having crap form are much much higher

5'11 master race

355x1 bench
535 x1 squat
585x1 dl

>>
3 months lifting, 300lbs squat parallel ROM. But my bench is barely over 1pl8.
>>
>>36643382
Yeah
>>
>>36642417
You're kidding me.
Thick, fat quads just aren't aesthetic. They look disproportionate, they ruin your silhouette/profile, they make you look like a circus freak instead of a strong, healthy male. Imagine how much better those legs would look if he cut the fat and dropped 80-100 pounds in his squat. As it is, he looks like a fucking freak, and while a small percentage of people will find that attractive because they understand how impressive the squat that goes with those legs is, most people will just think it looks gross, like a ham hock or something.
Even knowing how impressive the squat is, I can only see a ham hock when I look at that fat, meaty thigh.
>>
>>36642443
Dude, that's pretty fat and weak for three years of lifting regardless of your goals.
>>
>>36643209
Haha hahaha I love this shit.
It's so funny, it's the same with every kind of hobby or activity. People scratch the surface and think they've mastered it.
Meanwhile, people with any real depth of knowledge always realise how much more they have to learn.
>>
>>36644084
>le humble master meme

Literally the most pretentious/dishonest mindset
>>
>>36644064
How do you know what my bf is? Also I feel great with my progress. When I started out I couldn't even lift 200lb on bench.

BTW my bf is 10-13% atm. 17 inch upper arms bis/tri.
>>
>>36644108
It's really not either one of those things if you're not a stupid prick about it. It just really does take time and experience to appreciate how much you can learn about something. If you disagree, you're probably just the kind of person who never takes any hobby or activity very seriously.
You can learn plenty to become a novice at something, but without spending more time and really thinking about what you're actually doing when you perform the action you're not going to learn much more. And, as with anything, you can always dig deeper and improve when it comes to weightlifting, whether it's learning more about kinesiology in order to improve mobility and optimize your technique o learning more about nutrition and body chemistry in order to optimize your diet, or something else entirely (pharmaceuticals, sports medicine, etc) you have tons of potential areas to learn more in, and it's ignorant (or pretentious and dishonest) to pretend you don't.
>>
>>36644159
Yeah sure hahaha 10-13% sounds real realistic when you're barely benching above bodyweight after three years.
>>
>>36644223
*tips fedora*
>>
>>36636819
Lifting for around 12 months and just managed to hit a 3pl8 bench and 175kg squat to finish of the bulk. Could have probably been higher on squat but took like a 3-4 month break by replacing it with front squats high volume.
>>
>>36644261
