So i ran today and when i was catching my breath, i felt tingling in these three fingers.
Like they had fallen asleep.

Anyone else get this sometimes?
Thoughts on what it could be?

left hand or right?

i think it might be from having my arms bent and not extending them

Were you ever tested for any spinal disorders? Even a light case of scoliosis can, over time, start pinching important nerve clusters. The jostling movement of running can aggrevate the condition and result in short term numbness or tingling in your fingers.

A physical Therapist can help with this.

It doesn't look like a cardiovascular event, because it is in both arms, but getting an ekg within 24 hours of the tingling, can tell you for certain.

It could also be a blood pressure issue. When you stopped running, your heart rate falls, and your blood pressure falls with it. The sudden drop can cause a loss of feeling in the extremities or light headedness.

Double your salt intake for 2 days, and drink a lot of water to pump up your blood pressure, if this lessens the tingling, then it could be blood pressure related.

Similarly, whenever I squat, my left thumb goes numb. When am I gonna die, /fit/?

This sounds like a grip issue. Try holding the bar in a different manner to relieve pressure on your thumb.

Same thing happens to me. And I faint when I give blood. And can't hold my arms up for long at all. Never been able to get any help with it/taken seriously
>>
How are you holding your arms? Sounds like you're compressing your ulnar nerves or something.

could be something as simple as breathing. tingling can occur in the extremities when theres not enough carbon dioxide in your blood. This happens when you exhale too quickly not allowing the respiratory cycle to stabilize the levels in your lungs and in your blood. This causes your blood to become more acidic causing the tingling. Also it seems like you might have a little anxiety based on the fact youre asking this which can also be the cause of tingling or numbness. an adrenalin dump from a panic attack causes tingling. And finally the squat tingling in your thumb is probably just a nerve being compressed like another anon said switch your grip

I'll throw in a similiar thing since there's no point in making a thread for it. Whenever I try doing a pushup my right shoulder make this creepy as fuck noise which sounds like a mix between a click and tearing of tissues, anyone recognize it?

I get that too while doing dumbell flyes it doesn't hurt so I just ignore it and keep going

You probably have low blood pressure. It's not dangerous unless you get seizures. That's why they don't take you seriously. It sucks though. It could come from anemia, so I recommend checking your iron levels.

ulnar nerve compression. I had it when I used to lift using paving stones - that put a lot of pressure on the base of my palm which compressed the nerve. If I slept with my arm at a right angle I'd wake up with those fingers numb.

I have it, I don't know what it is. As much as I could work out I have a tight muscle at the front of my shoulder (I forget the name). There's an exercise you can do to loosen it out where you lie on a bed with your arm hanging off the side, raise it up and hold it like you're in a bench press position, hold it for 20 seconds like that then slowly start to rotate your arm backward until you're pointing what would be straight up if you were standing. I think you can angle the shoulder back too so the elbow starts pointing down at the floor. That stretches out that muscle at the front.
