I was considering doing it BUT training fasted can apparently make your body break down muscles tissue to get the necessary glycogen to fuel the workout and I lift pretty heavy with plenty of sets.I won't take BCAAs so fuck it....

Here is what happens when you fast.
Day 1-2: Your body burns all remaining blood sugar.
Day 2-3: Your body burns through all the glycogen in your liver and muscles. No you don't lose muscle tissue, just the glycogen stored in it. Your muscles may look smaller, but that is just the missing glycogen. Glycogen is mostly water, so your body is losing a lot of water, which all comes back when you start eating again.
Day 3-4: Your body converting stored fat into ketone bodies for use as energy, which is about half as efficient as energy from food, which is why you get headaches and are lethargic.

Full-blown ketosis is NOT a requirement for fat loss and can actually indirectly hurt your fat loss in the long run (rT3, rT4 production, and lowered T-levels just to name a few of the possible issues).

The same results of IF can be achieved simply by creating and running a net deficit for an extended period of time.

The only advantage IF has over eating when the fuck ever you want is that it has the potential to change your body's caloric partitioning.

Think about it logically, the whole point of intermittent fasting is to gain muscle WHILE staying lean, legit it's all about body composition. Why would your body break down something it is using essentially to survive. It's illogical. Intermittent fasting increases insulin sensitivity and working out fasted does the same, so when you have your big feast, all of the calories will go to muscle growth instead of fat stores. Try it for a while and don't believe what every article says. Try the damn thing for a few weeks and check your progress, if it works great. If it doesn't then stop it. I've been intermittent fasting for 6 months and I lost fat and gained muscle. Just make sure you use other tools like carb and calorie cycling for maximum effect.

I do some halfass fasting when cutting since I'd rather eat at least one meal a day like I do when I bulk instead of eating a bunch of little meals.

Shake in the morning, 1200 calorie meal, shake at night, puts me around 1600 cals and I'm good to go.

I will say it's giving me different results than before though since my last cut eating small meals my lifts went down but with this one my lifts have continued to go up, albeit at about half the rate of a bulk. I eat my huge meal like 2 hours before I work out so that may be why, I don't fucking know.
