went from 125ish to 170 in about 5 months, not rambo but definetely way better, only thing that worked for me was to push myself as hard eating as I did working out, that and spreading meals out 6 times a day

I used to be exactly like you. 5'10, 115 lbs soaking wet.

Was convinced I had a "fast metabolism" and that I was an "ectomorph" until I realized that I wasn't actually eating a lot at all. I started force feeding myself throughout the day and soon enough started seeing gains. It's not because you had mcdonalds yesterday and still weigh the same that you "can't gain weight". Be consistent with your eating, and you'll soon enough see your weight shoot up.

I weigh 175lbs now btw.

Don't bother asking this on /fit/ mate, at least not today. They're clearly all taking the piss atm so try youtube videos (Athlean-X is good)
Or sites like Wikihow or Scooby's workshop.
I'm also skinny and have the same issue as you, and the general idea is to eat like 5 meals a day, even if they're smaller (but not by too much) than your average 3 meals. Nutrition, not just calories are important.
Don't bother with the fags here atm, they're not taking you seriously - bitterness most likely.
