Anybody know how much % you tip the receptionist at the gym?
I usually throw her/him a $5 but sometimes a 10 if they greet me with a smile.

You're supposed to tip her the same way you tip a doorman or paper boy, once or twice a year, Christmas and end of June, in a lump, as a percentage of your total annual cost (total cost of membership and perks in this case). $5 per visit is way too much.
