There are PLENTY of reasons we're biologically inclined to not be attracted to them. The same thing happens in the animal kingdom. Obesity is a sign of gluttony, poor self control, and laziness. It is a big giant (no pun intended) danger sign that says "I'm ill". And they are very much ill in the mind and body.

It's natural to pick a mate that will give your offspring the highest chance of survival, therefore preserving your genes. Cool question. Consider there are three men and they each have access of 100 women. Half of the women are fit, fast and healthy while the other half are fat, slow and in poor health. The first man is attracted only to the fat women and therefor impregnates just them. The second man has no preference and fucks willy-nilly to impregnate an equal amount of fat women and fit women. The third man is attracted exclusively to fit women and thus only impregnates fit women.
Now each man has managed to impregnate 50 women, therefor giving each 50 offspring. The womem are then released into the wild where they are to raise, provide for and protect their children.
The offspring of the first man are born to fat, unhealthy mothers who can not provide as is required by the laws of nature which results in a low survival rate of 10 children. These 10 children inherited an attractiveness for fat women and will continue their fathers legacy as such.
The second man had no preference and impregnated 25 fit women and 25 fat women. The fit women are far better providers and thus their children have a much better survival rate. Combined with those born of fat women, 25 children survive to continue reproducing with no preference.
Now the third man reproduced with only fit women and as mentioned before, the survivability of offspring among these women is high. Of his 50 children, 40 survive to reproduce only with fit women.
Mix all these surviving offspring of different preferences into the same geographical area and you will find that after many generations (if the survival rates remain the same), offspring who are only attracted to fit mates will quickly outbreed those with preference for fat mates and also those with no preference at all.
Attraction to fit women isn't male choice. Males who did have attraction to fat women could produce a viable lineage.
