I read you can only gain 10 lbs muscle a year naturally. I've been lifting a year, went from 5 foot 10 118 lbs to 5 foot 11 126 lbs. Did i do something wrong?

>10 lbs muscle a year naturally
I train since 6 weeks (again) after a pause of 7 month.
Gained 7 kg in those 6 weeks, most of that muscle

That would depend on your genetics, age, diet, height, skeletal build, etc.
Is that a pussy on your chest?..
>shredded
Thanks Anon, I needed that laugh.
By the way, you look like a fuckboy/twink. It's not at all aesthetic.

You gain both muscle AND fat when you're eating at a surplus. Since you're new to lifting, you probably trained and ate sub optimally. Under good conditions, you could easily gain 10lbs of muscle and 5lbs of fat in a year.
