Boxing or hitting the heavy bag. Your body will adapt by increasing bone density. Takes a while, but it slowly builds density. Have to do impact exercises, cardio for lower body and boxing for upper body, generally speaking.

Jumping rope yes because of the impact of your feet on the ground. Same goes for hand/wrists on the bag. It's not that you get greater density gains because of cardio, it's the constant impact on the joint/limb/whatever.

If you are talking about microfractural repairment in bones then it won't improve bone density in the overall skeleton, just in the hands, forearms, feet, and calves.
