I'm working out every other day doing compounds only, but I feel like I need bigger arms. Is it a good idea to hit arms only on an off day?

Why don't you do your biceps and triceps isos at the end of each workout? These won't hurt progress.

Don't do that. Compounds are meant to be the solid base of your workout, but isolations should be done aswell, after you're done with compounds.

Even powerlifter s do assistance work. Bigger triceps = bigger bench. You said yourself you aren't happy with your arm size, so you've answered your own question
