congrats anon! its taken me almost a year but im finally on the right path as well! feels good!
Deep tissue massage, stretching and learning proper form took you two years?
Anyway, whatever happened to Ronnie? Does he still lift?

Mate it's taken me about 3 years but I've finally nailed down proper form as well and my max has gone from 2pl8 to 3pl8 in like 3 months. I basically just wasn't using my glutes at all and didn't know how to hold the bar properly. Yes my squat is awful but I always thought it was just because I'm a lanky tallfag, turns out I was just a shit.
Big ron is basically just a supplement shill now and makes all his money that way. He just had back surgery a few months ago, not sure why but I'd say fucked up from years of heavy lifting with steroid recovery making him feel better than he actually should have. Pic related. Not sure if he can walk again yet, hope he does, he was a rad dude. Shame about the shilling tho

I think you are me, I literally made no progress and now I'm making progress.
>Activate glutes before squats
>Tried a wider stance for highbar since long femurs
It's amazing that it was holding me back for so long. I never even thought to try a wider stance.

Hai, dis is what I did and it fixed me. Plenty of band work to warm up my glutes before squatting and using a narrower grip on the bar so I could actually get tight instead of just letting it crush my neck.
Actually, another anon recommended I watch this Chris Duffin squat tutorial https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U5zrloYWwxw and it really freaking helped, just suddenly went to the gym after watching and everything clicked.
