When are bro splits an optimal routine? Even on roids?

I feel like I make the most progress when I hit the same muscle groups every other day/every 3 days at most. I can't imagine hitting a muscle group once a week.

Do roids really make that much a difference?

Planning to start my first cycle soon btw.

Generally your muscles will be fully recovered and cease improvement after 48 hours. Nothing wrong with bro splits, but considering it usually means working out each muscle group less than twice a week means you could be improving faster by incorporating multiple groups in each workout for a more complicated, but ultimately more rewarding routine.

Doesn't matter. Even bro splits hit most muscles twice a week. I'm on a 5 day split with one day as full body, but only have one dedicated chest day.
