Has anyone here tried, or use regularly, a sensory deprivation tank? I use them quite often and find them extremely beneficial for the mind and body. Im surprised I've never seen them mentioned on /fit/. Incredible for muscle recovery and even better for mental gains.

i am curious about them, but i have really bad tinnitus in both ears and i worry that it will just be so bad in the chamber that i end up having a shitty time.

yup ... great thing. I smoke weed + eat shrooms and go in for a 2-3hour session. I treat it just as a form of relaxation tho - don't think it does anything to the body

I cant find one in my backwater eu country.
There's a place near me that charges $60/hr. Seems a little expensive but I've been wanting to do it for a while. I think I'll give it a try soon.
