How should I integrate a static stretching routine into a standard

How should I integrate a static stretching routine into a standard AxBxA BxAxB push/pull routine?

My flexibility is fucking tragic and I feel like it's holding my lifts back.

Do dynamic stretching as a warmup do static stretching after when you're still warm. I remember reading a study that showed static stretching while lifting actually negatively affected the performance of top athletes.

Either way make sure you do it. I neglected it for years and I paid the fucking piper big time. There was a time my chest was so tight I couldn't put my arms straight up, and my left quad got so tight my knee got fucked for a while.

They mostly just look like swinging your limbs around like a retard to be honest. Feel free to give em a goog.

I do a bit of retard flailing then a warmup set, then some more retard flailing then depending on how I feel maybe another warmup set, maybe a real set. Then when I'm done I do some static stretches.

I've regained a lot of my mobility and my form is a lot better because I'm not fighting my own body on everything anymore.

You should always static stretch then do a dynamic warmup, then warmup sets. EVERY TIME you workout.

Static stretching only reduces power output very briefly so if you follow up with dynamic stretching you won't have any power reduction.

Only doing dynamic stretching isn't great because once you stop your dynamic stretch for about 5 minutes, your muscles will just shrink back to the same length.

Interesting, I'm the dynamic guy from up above and my information is from when I started lifting almost a decade ago. I'm gonna assume they figured this shit out more recently.

I was aware of the negative, but I just do my retard flailing between sets.
