okay i did the math /fit/
chicken breast vs chicken quarter leg
per kg chicken breast will have 1,38 times more protein.
per euro a chicken breast will give 31,3g protein
per euro a chicken quarter leg will give 58,8g protein
chicken quarter legs are a 50% cheaper source of proteins then chicken breasts
i weighted the meat of chicken breasts and chicken quart leg after baking. (no bones)

Dont quarter legs have more fat than a breast?
its essentially a thigh and drumstick
>>36444630
Yes
People eat chicken breasts because it's insanely lean, not so much for cheap protein. It's a god-tier cutting food.

i am cutting at 1500 cals a day and i still eat chicken quarter legs. 2 pieces are 800 cals and 80 protein, the rest i do with veggies.

Regarding the price, seeing as you're also paying for the bones when buying chicken legs (such as in your picture), is it still worth it to buy that compared to chicken breasts ?
I'm talking about the actual meat to weight ratio. It's much cheaper to buy chicken legs here (less than 10 euros a kilogram, versus about 15 for one kilogram of chicken breast) but not all of that weight can be eaten.
tell us the price per kg you paid for the brests and tights.

can you please reread.

it has more fat. i would say it is cheaper protein but you are eating more calories per protein.

its still 50% cheaper protein.
