Used to longboard all over campus.
Now my one and only sits against a wall, the trucks slowly rusting. If I had moved to Cali or stayed on the coast in FL, it would probably still be in use. Shit was fun when I could use it.

I used to longboard to get around campus when I went to ASU. I'm probably selling it soon to be honest, but it was very practical. Didn't need to lock it up since all the classrooms had racks for boards.
They are awesome for transportation if you live in a flat town like most college campuses
too much work over something like a bike most places though
when your broke as fuck yes. got one to get around town and job interviews. always get looks cause im wearing a suit.

VLT, only race I've joined that is part of the world qualifying series of the International Downhill Federation, several local races.
Had a horrible bail once that traumatized me to the point of quitting the sport, without a helmet I'm 100% sure I'd be dead right now.

Fuck me someone is finally on skating. I've got a 33 1/2" sector 9 with gullwing sidewinders. I just bought new wheels for carving because ive absolutely destroyed my older set. New bones reds bearings. Tomorrow will be my first non-doublework day since Wednesday and I'll actually have time to skate.
