/fit/ how much do you generally spend a week/month on food?
>>
>>36417014
About 105 USD
I eat a ton of fresh produce, quinoa, olive oil, whole grain bread and fresh meat, eggs and milk. I'll hit up an Indian restaurant about once a week but the rest I cook myself.
>>
>>36417090
Same. Except I usually go to Chipotle instead of Poo 'n' Loo food once a week.
>>
>>36417090
Is this weekly or monthly?
>>
cooking i can get guesstimated 2700 calories and 240g protein daily for about 70$(10 dollars per day)

When i go retard mode and go out to eat my weekly spending can add up to like 300$ And i might not hit macros some days too.

food snobs and hipsters made even cafeteria shit food spots triple their prices.
>>
£20 a day so £20x30=£600 ($850)
I just eat junk food pretty much
>>
how much /fit/ save for a month?
>>
$180 CAD per week which is a lot but I make decent money and have time to cook so I buy literally every thing fresh and don't freeze anything.
>>
>>36417187

$800 CAD.
>>
REALLY

YOU SPEND THAT MUCH ON FOOD?

nice to see some other canadians on here who share my love of decent food. friends think im nuts for dropping $800+ a month on food, but i like being able to taste what i eat so fuck them.
>>
>>36417674

yeah if you can afford to eat well why wouldn't you? i make decent money but not very good money so i just cut on some more trivial shit.
>>
>>36417014
around $80/month it's been less but not more.
I'm a small eater, plus I have no intentions of acquiring massive gains, just a bit around my lower body.

LOL. Fucking people hating on me. I work for the government where I earn 75k as an accountant. I also run two side businesses with my wife, anywhere from 30k to 50k there. I'm an MBA & CPA.
Was a D1 college lax player with a full ride, she is my high-school sweetheart.

Why am I on 4chan?
I roll thru /fit/ and /biz/ in my spare time because govt work is a joke and I have so much down time.

I'm pretty fit, admittedly not like back when I was in school, but winning at life none the less.

Our personal companies blew up when we were in school, and the first kid was not planned, so we decided to have one more and be done. I'll be 39 with both of my kids off to college. We are already to the point of financial independence too.

So, after trashing me, please tell me how your life is better?

That's not a very David Foster Wallace thing to say anon.

Middle class - upper class neither of these have any discernible bearing w/r/t your total happiness level. If this man has found solace in his life and family, if he is feeling geniunley accomplished and like a winner, then so be it.

It is up to him to chose what he worships and favors and derives meaning from in the day to day trenches of adult life. If you're automatically sure that you know what reality is, and you are operating on your default setting, then you, like me, probably won't consider possibilities that aren't annoying and miserable. But if you really learn how to pay attention, then you will know there are other options. It will actually be within your power to experience a crowded, hot, slow, consumer-hell type situation as not only meaningful, but sacred, on fire with the same force that made the stars: love, fellowship, the mystical oneness of all things deep down.

Not that that mystical stuff is necessarily true. The only thing that's capital-T True is that you get to decide how you're gonna try to see it.
>>
So.... I'm 25 years old... Making over 100k a year, three nice streams of income (notice I never mentioned my IRA, and investments. Lol if you wanna degrade me for being upper middle class at 25 off the fruits of my own labor, so be it.

This also shows that your mindset is that I will always be stuck at this point.

With our growth rate, we will be in the top 1% before 30 years old....

Thoughts?

>36420441

"free money"

Finish college or high school, go ahead and vote for Bernie, I'll still be on top.

>these plebs seriously think that I'll be at this same point moving forward into the future. Hahah oh the logic of the mediocre...
>>
>>36420539
Are you upset?

>upper middle class
No, your job is lame and nobody respects it, plus you're obviously pretty vain about it, so definitely middle class.

Class isn't just money, guy.
>>
All of it
>>
>>36420403
Haha this guy is a fucking moron, you go lacrosse brother! Thinks 105k to 125k is middle class. He's either 12 years old or a liberal arts major at cantfindajob U.

You're already in the top 15 to 20% in the US... Keep on grinding son.
>>
>>36420539
You're right, I was wrong to judge
>>
>>36420634
Your right class isn't just money..

Thus why I coach and do alot of other fulfilling shit.

I just find it funny people tie having kids in their 20s with things like they mentioned.

Health, Self & Wealth my fellow /fit/izens.

As with anything in life, if you don't have haters, doubters, or Debby downers talking shit... You're not doing it right. They're jealous, that's why they reply.
>>
>>36420672
Well thanks. I appreciate it. Worked hard to get where I am.

>>
>>36417014
Around £300 a month for two people in London, UK.
Half of that is meat, I order from a Scottish farm once a month, totally worth the money.
>>
>>36417187

1700 USD/mo into a 401k
>>
>>36421030
Thanks man, we'll it's actually kinda cool. The one business has to do with both her and I staying fit. So I get to use my lifting to make money.

The other is a self improvement business where I get to help people with their health and their finances.

The govt gig is just temporary until the businesses really take off, but yea we definitely don't work 12hrs a day.

I can actually do alot while I'm bored at my desk, so I essentially double dip.

Hey everyone has their own thing, but this all started with a dude telling me I am a loser and have no life bc I had kids in my 20s with a girl who I've been with since high school.

I'll be lurking on here until 4pm if yall have any questions!
>>
>>36421081

And 80/week on food
>>
>>36421026
Your life seems pretty cool. Why are you still so insecure?
>>
Bout €150 a month, €200 if I eat out more often
>>
Beef or chicken?

Mince beef is cheaper than chicken if that's any help. Not sure how bad the macros are though.
>>
>>36417014
1300$ spent on food in february. This month is looking to be even more expensive. Sometimes upwards of 80$ a day.
>>
>>36421104
I'm confused as to how you came to that conclusion. I'm a different anon, who happens to have kids too..... Either way, the pussy doesn't get ruined, and I have no idea why you claim it does (other than having 0 experience)
>>
>>36421236
Weird, you have the same typing mannerisms as the other guy. But upon reading back I see now that you referred to him, so I shouldn't have made the mistake in the first place.
I'm also not the guy who was talking about pussy. I just wondered why the other guy was so salty, despite having a pretty nice life.
>>
>>36421288
I'm with ya, I guess I can see that. Cool cool
>>
>>36421288
What's up anons. It's me original dude lol. Don't know how I can prove it tho lol

I got salty bc I was simply curious to how people spend so much on food when I can feed the 4 of us healthy and we'll for 90 a week.

Then some dude comes out of the blue, nowhere near the conversation on this thread. To bash me for having kids.

I've had a few people do that in my life, say ignorant shit about having kids. I just don't get where it comes from.

I don't think anyone is a loser for not having kids.

Nor do I think that anyone really has any business telling others what's right and wrong.

But when they assume I'm some loser who had kids young, I tend to get angry.

We have much too prejudicial tendencies as a society.

Not butthurt. Just proud that the Mrs and I beat the statistics and are happy and successful now.

I'll be damned if someone trys to take away from what we have done.

Have a good one everyone.
>>
>>36421189

>>
>>36421189

>>

Hey fellow poorfag.

per month...
$40 on whey
$12 on black beans
$16 on eggs
$24 on egg whites
$40 on chicken breast
$40 on beef
$40 on ground turkey
$60 on vegetables
$5 on rice
Just a little over $300 typically, changes throughout the year for various reasons, but that's pretty close to normal. I live on an island that produces a fairly small proportion of the food most people eat, though most of what I buy is produced on Island. Regardless, food is on the expensive side.

>>
>>36419948

Well, personally, I don't believe you because establishing a business requires money which usually requires a line of credit which requires a good credit score that most students don't have unless you were born relatively wealthy. I'd believe that.

I do believe you when you say you work for the man, and fuck around all day because honestly most office jobs I've worked in are pretty lax so long as you get your shit done.

Anyways good on you, man. Calm down though. Comparing your life to random anons makes you come off as a tryhard.
>>
>>36422228
True it does, I was blessed to be born into a 1st world country absolutely. I look forward to the day where all are 1st world countries. Imagine the amount of growth at that point
>>
>>36422307
Had stellar credit. Also the first business started out completely online without and real capital cost other than LLC formation and first year website fees.

Understand the reason for doubt tho.

Also, wife never went to college. I basically carbon copied all of the experience I got to her. She was also a top their athlete in high school, so she had the fitness end down.
>>
Usually between $150 and $250 in a month, depending on how much booze I buy. I probably spend at least half that on booze.

can you share with me your secret? i spend only 250 and consider that a good deal, but im looking to cut down more, but im also on a bulk.

currently im investing in 40 pound boxes of chicken thighs and 30 pounds of pork, but after that id be lest with only 21 dollars for fruits and veg.

easily do carrots with that, but i spend about 20 bucks a week on produce as is
>>
>>36419578
Dude I live in CA and I spend 140/week just for myself...
>>
>>36423341

>140 a week just for myself

why though? i live in los angeles and max out at 250.

>40 pounds of chicken for 31 bucks
>30 pounds of pork for 45
>20 dollars a week on produce
>almost 100 dollars left over for whatever the else i want to treat myself to
>>
>>36417014
my budget fluctuates based on cut/ bulk.
On bulk: $85 dollars for groceries
On cut: $65-75
This doesnt include eating out. GF and I go out once a week or so, and Ill usually buy a big mac or something once a week.
>>
>>36423442
I have to admit that I buy a bunch of extra stuff, that's probably why my weekly grocery trip is always hella heavy.

>$20 sea food
>$10 grains
