>caring about how much a fellow gym-goer lifts
>staring at them

>>36416191
I stare at everyone but i am autism
just human nature brah
meh i'm curious how i stack up
i mostly try to catch myself and mind my own business tho
>>36416191
Uh I generally just stare at myself in the mirror but I think I'm just a vain piece of garbage.
>>36416191
This is meta for what to do between sets

Compete with your own 135lb bench in peace skeletron
>inb4 ya bro i dedlift 600 bench 400 skwot 700 way stronger than u
I look too but it's more of a side glance out of the corner of my eye
Am I actually the only one then that just stares at myself in the mirror? I love watching my muscles work, it's kind of entertaining.

>well memed, sir
>current 1rm 300lbs
>see someone DLing 405lbs at my uni gym
>mire
I mire people who can lift heavier than me for inspirations that I'll be there one day.
>not staring at other people lifting heavy to give you motivation
I can't be the only one who does this.
There's this 40 year old guy at my gym who squats lmao5pl8.
>tfw he complimented my form on my 275 poverty squat
>tfw he gave me tips
I want to be like him when I grow up.
>>36416191
I try not to do this, but inevitably I do. It's just human nature, you compare yourself to the people around you.
I just stare at the guys/girls that go really, really hard. That way when I'm about to choke a rep or really don't feel like going for my last set, I think about them and it helps me push myself.
They're kind of motivation.
>>36416335
you aren't in the gym and trying to see how much I lift? lel good job.
>>36416382
good job
I train at my uni gym and most people there are weak as fuck and DYEL-tier. I am one of the few relatively stronger and bigger guys and I am not even that big/strong
people keep looking at me and sizing me up and it's annoying as hell
>not pretending not to care but secretly miring out of the corner of your eye
