I started running again recently after a few years of just lifting. It feels great, I love how sharp my vision feels when I'm done, it kind of reminds me of a light version of doing shrooms.
I also noticed my lifting improved a bit, I'm guess my heart and lungs are able to keep up a bit better and I'm not getting gassed as easily.

My gym has had a cardio challenge for the month of March for charity, it's been a big help. I normally do cardio alongside my lifting but prioritizing it for a while has been genuinely motivating again.

Last summer I'd run 5 miles a day 5x a week, but it was difficult in conjunction with lifting. Especially leg day. I was cut as fuck though
