Lots of people who squat heavyloads like olympic weightlifters let their knees go over their toes, and I have never had any kneepain desu.

My problem is that I get a lot of glute pain and low back pain, I just can't figure out why desu.

Really try to dial in your form with a low weight until you get it down consistently. I wear oly shoes too and it makes sinking to the absolute bottom of the hole very easy, so I prefer a high bar, vertical back squat.

These yeah, and possibly ankle mobility.

Core strength could also cause you to fall forward. You progressed using a bad movement pattern, and need to back off weight a bit.

Are there other things in your programming that could be the cause of your glute/lumbar pain?
