195 lbs 27% bf

178 pounds around 16-20% BF

Bench: 80lb dumbells for reps
Squat: 265lbs for reps
Deadlift 265 lbs 1x5
OHP: 95 for reps

I don't know why my deadlift is so weak. Anyone have advice?

Here's deadlifts and OHP, just started these a couple weeks back

>Deadlift: 135 x 5
>OHP: 95 x 5

Not sure if my bench is weak because it was over my body weight, but it's not strong. Proud of it though because that's what I tended to work on a lot. Need to work on other shit.
>>
>>36289232
youre squat form is off or your dead form is. also im dumbbell pressing the same as you [for 15 reps] and can ohp about 145 for 5. step up your ohp game breh. training arms helps as well like curls and dips
>>
>>36289242

knuckles getting a stabbing pain sounds nothing like weak grip. if anything go to a physio, i meant use straps if you want to go heavier without pain.

Probably my squat form. I'll work on it along w/ my OHP. Thanks brotha

~5 weeks into SL...

Squat: 90lb-165lb
Bench: 90lb-125lb
OHP: 65lb-95lb (failed 95 2, currently deloading)
Row: 80lb-105lb
Deadlift: 135lb-205lb

Grips failing on deadlift already. Gonna get some chalk and hope to continue gainz. OHP is a bitch but also my favorite lift so I hope to crush my way through my last plateau. Concerned about my form on squats, just doesn't feel right.

Oh, and I'm eating 1500cals.

Diddly: 220 1x5
OHP: 80 5x5 ;_;

How the fuck do I move up on my OHP? It's been stalling like crazy while everything else has slowly been going up. Fucking bullshit breh, my gym buddy who's only been lifting 2 months now is already at 70lbs OHP which took me quite a while to hit. Should I add in a shoulder accessory?

I added Incline DB press after regular bench and after doing that, my actual bench started moving up after stalling at 135 for a while.

If my max diddy is 300, what should I be doing reps at? Memelifts says 1x5 but I always do 3x5 cause why not, but I wasn't progressing very fast with them and tried to find my max the other day and it was 300. Could probably go more, but I was worried since I'd never lifted that much before.
>>
>>36292271
is doing them 3x5 a week "better" than 1x5 , as memelifts says?
>>
>>36292277
I dunno, but the way it's set up, I don't feel like I'm lifting that much, so I just do all five lifts every time. I just feel ridiculous not doing at least a few sets of deadlifts.

Is there a good reason not to do more if you CAN do more?

Either squatting more than you should be/ bad form, or you're just not trying hard enough on deads. If you can skwat that much, the power is there for you to dl at least 20 more, if not 50 more.

For about the first 3 months I really didn't know how hard I could try on a deadlift, and one week I said fuck it and tried my hardest and ended up jumping 40 pounds. Now I know the feeling of actually maxing out a dl and it helps.

After a while 1x5 just isn't enough volume. I've been doing 3x3-5 almost my entire lifting career (excluding warm-ups) you might not even have to drop weight because with rests, you'd be surprised how many more reps you can squeeze out.

Guys, since I don't see a SQT and am too lazy to make one, pls assist.

I haven't been training since last summer and have done 0 weightlifting
Back then:
5'10
165lbs
Squat - 200 lb
DL - 280 lbs
Bench - 190 lbs

At the end of the last summer I fucked up my hand and couldn't do anything in the gym, so I decided to cut until now.

Now I'm 147 lbs and want to get back into lifting. How do I make the first gym experience as painless as possible? I know that DOMS will kill me either way, but I have a demanding job where I have to move a lot. What do brehs?

Just exercise with the bar for the first time?
