Is it normal to feel lower back tightness after deadlift workout?
>>
No, you're rounding your back.

a little bit but make sure your form isn't fucked, have someone check it

mixed grip used to give me a bad feeling like that. I switched to hook grip and all feels fine.

I also have a messed up disk before I get "hur durr I do mixed grip and am fine"

Motherfucker deadlifts ARE lower back workouts.

>Hey guys is it weird to feel tightness in your legs after doing squats?
>>
I never have trouble with that but I'm always light headed as FUCK after doing deadlifts and bent over rows. People have suggested in the past that it might be dehydration but it can't be, I drink more than enough water.

I got that when I was leaning too far back at the top.

I've experienced there's a difference between immediate tightness and immediate pain in the lower back when squatting and deadlifting. Today I squatted without a mirror and I felt a tightness, but no pain.

Then I deadlifted and felt some slight pain, but only after switching to a belt interestingly enough. I'm arching my back, sucking in air and flexing/initiating at the glutes and hamstrings when I pull. I belive my spine is more neutral at this point because I didn't arch my back a lot before and I got pain almost every session.

I would say yes... but not more so than other areas. Of course every body is put together differently... Just make sure you don't feel it in your arms!

Maybe do them barefoot and see if that helps.

not tightness really but I always feel DOMS in my lower back, but I assumed that was normal right /fit/? and I can feel it's in the muscle not in my spine.

Can someone reassure me or tell me if I'm actually snapping my shit cause idk what to think now.
>>
>>36193214
I used to have it, try to fix up your form, anon you are probably rounding your back as anon above said
>>
>>36193568
You should be feeling DOMS in your upper back and legs mostly, but yes you normally get DOMS in the lower back but they shouldn't hurt too bad or for too long. You're engaging your core and back as part of the lift as stabilizing muscles basically so soreness is expected.
The best thing to do is take a vid of yourself and check for rounding.

As long as you're not experiencing PAIN, then yes it's normal.

>>36193300

You're not eating enough, exercising with low blood sugar, and then experiencing drops in blood pressure during heavy lifts.
