I'll bump. Been cutting for about a month. Weights been fluctuating, but mostly because I'm shit at maintaining a diet. Cardio and weights, I've been trying to cut down from 180 to 155. So far I've lost about 4 pounds, and i know i can lose more, but it's hard to keep the cut going.

It might be small, but it's still an achievement to me

I'm 215 pounds at 35% bf and I still get a few mires here and there. can't wait till I get down to around 10% bf.

In it he mentioned that he admired Socrates for having the discipline to be able to occasionally indulge in things such as alcohol without having it become a vice. This was the mark of a man with incredible mastery over his own will/soul. I had been sticking to a very strict cut and saw any minor deviation as weakness. I decided to test if I had self discipline. I found a recipe for low calorie cheesecake and ate 1 and 1/2 slices. This was the amount I could eat while still holding to my deficit. I was able to stop when my fatter self a few months ago would have not. I just weighed myself and I'm still losing weight at the same rate, despite the cheesecake. Thank you based greekbro.

If you break your cut, stop eating and start the next day. Don't try to eat less to compensate for when you went over, just meet your cut for the day.

Intermittent Fasting. What I'm doing is 16 hours fast, then an 8 hour period where I eat my calories for the day. I eat from 3 to 11. Still eat the same amount, but I feel more full, which makes it easier. I recommend it.
