Who else is a minimalist when it comes to lifting?
A
>deadlift
>Turkish getup
B
>push press
>kb frot squat
I do both lifts twice a week, along with a bunch of chin-ups every day. Feels good to be free of all those isolation exercises, counting macros and being obsessed with aesthetics. Just like lifting some weights eating healthy and letting the rest fall into place. You guys should try it out some time

Fair dues. Having a million different isolations and supersets and shit does get a bit tiresome.

That stuff does have its place. I'm not saying this ways better but sometimes it's good to simplify

You look like shit. It really shows that you have an easy workout.

I always try to create minimalistic workput routines, but I fear that I am missing out on some of the muscles.

I mean, I have sufficient experience taht I could likely design one that doesnt - but even after over 7 years of training, I m still insecure on this.
>>
>>36166956
just make sure you include at least 10 sets squatting pressing and pulling every week
>>
>>36166225
lean but tiny.

likely looks DYEL in shirt

Thinking about some shit like

Db Bench 2,4,6,8,10,12
W. Pullups 2,4,6,8,10,12
Highbar Squats 2,4,6,8,10,12

2-3 times/wk with lots of cardio

>push pull ratio the same
why internally rotated shoulders, you say?
>>

SS is fairly minimalist as is. I just don't squat each workout, only lift twice a week like you, do about 3 mile run after lifting, and do a long run like 6 miles on the third day.

Thanks to muscle memory I'm making decent gains, and interestingly my Wright has went up quickly too, maybe that's cuz I'm older, or also muscle memory.

To me the primary goal is to feel good, be healthy, and avoud injury. For example I did six miles wed, so today when I stared to jog, knees hurt a bit, so I just stopped.

Recovery is as important as the workout if you wanna make progress.

I'm the same OP, different lifts but I hate doing isolation excercises. I have a sort of similar physique too although I'm a bit bigger.
>>
>>36168137

Actually a lot bigger

You look like you don't even lift. You may like your "minimalist" lifting plan, but it's shit.

I lift every other day, but yes, very minimalist:
A
>squat
>calf raise
>lunges
B
>OHP
>BP
>bent over row
C
>Diddlies
>pullups
>bent over row
>>
>>36168844
I should also add I went from 160 -> 180 in 12 months. Compound movements are the shit.

I havent improved much from this program because i think i hit the limit for me a year ago. If i stopped eating junkfood, smoking, drinking, not sleeping enough and not doing cardio it might improve.

The program that has helped me the most was some powerbuilding program from muscleandstrength.com

But this one is cool tho, would recommend
