They are underrated for cardio, though.

Just do them as explosively as possible to get it under 15 reps to keep the cardio anaerobic.

That, plus explosive jumping squats (again, under 15 reps, or you aren't jumping high/hard enough)

Plus body weight pull ups

Full body anaerobic cardio.

Shit is kickass for body composition

3-4 sets of each is all you need. Superset the exercises together, then rest for 2-3 times as long as you were exercising.

Try practicing archer push ups and you will start to get it.

I was only benching 160lb when I did my first set.

Your feet have to be a little wider so you don't fall over, but over time your balance will get better as your stabilizers strengthen, and you can narrow the stance
