Be lean all the time man! if ur a skelly, do dirty bult. But otherwise do only leanbulk, and look good ALL THE TIME. Not like bulking 3/4 of the year and look good only few months in the summer.
>>
>>36109768
I have the same question.

I am fat and have like 6 months at the gym. I have seen some results on my arms, chest and back but my stomach is still kinda big and really soft.

What to do?
>>
I've been on both sides of it, but never extremely lean or underweight and not obese or anything. Starting skinnier was easier, cutting was always harder in the beginning for me anecdotally
>>
>>36109768
Definitely skinny, even tho it might take a bit longer to achieve the same mass fat guys will look like shit because if loose skin and deformities of their chest and abdomen from being stretched out for years.
>>
Skinny, definitely.

You will NEVER lose the appetite you developed from being a fatass and it will be a constant battle not to become fat again for the rest of your life.

Skinny people just need to weat a whey shake once per day to mantain even if they don't like food that much.

>>
>>36109883
Think about it objectively for a second
Skinny people need to eat MORE, they need to lut MORE effort into making and consuming food, even more money

All fat people have to do is eat LESS
They save time, money, even energy
Losing weight is WAY easier than gaining
>>
>>36109948
>All fat people have to do is eat LESS

With your stomach literally hurting because you want more food and your mind focusing on it for hours on end if you're in a heavy cut and every instinct you have telling you to eat more.

Skinny people usually don't care about eating more, they're usually just lazy but they have no problem mowing down stuff for the most part, and there's a LOT of calory heavy stuff they can eat to gain weight without needing to feel like they're full.
>>
>>36109970
How anyone can be hungry on a cut when lettuce exists is a mystery to me. If you're eating your baked chicken and turkey breasts and not being a fat little bitch and eating jellybeans all day you would feel fine.

Shitty eating habits from years of eating like shit. It literally tastes like shit to your warped tastebuds. If it were as easy as you say, there wouldn't be a fat epidemic bruv.

skinny, because you won't look like shit with your shirt off after lots of progress.
>>
>>36110079
There's a fat epidemic because we're a species that is stagnating evolutionary due to tech and medicine. People can afford to just be big blobs of shit and society will even defend their right not to be treated as such
>>
>>36110079
Yeah. Because I enjoy not eating pizza every day. It's called willpower breh. Fucking fat people think they're minds are being controlled by gut bacteria and pop tarts.
>>
i started off as fat

all i did was do an 18/6 fast and eat less and lifted it literally took no effort
>>
>>36110124
>to lose weight fatties need to develop willpower
>to gain weight skellies just need to have a whey milkshake every day

Glad we agree it's harder for fat people.
>>
>>36110154
I actually do agree that it's probably harder to lose weight if you're obese than it is to gain weight on Auschwitz mode. I never said otherwise.

Not because of the inherent physical difficulties of overconsumption vs underconsumption, but because I think the majority of obese people are that way because they suffer from an addiction. As well as likely having been subjected to environmental or mental difficulties for long parts of their lives.

That doesn't mean they deserve sympathy or should be allowed to make excuses. Stop being a fucking child and get your shit together and lose the weight.
>>
>>36109768

I started off fat as shit and it was easy enough when I got into it. Took a long time to become human shaped again but reckon it would have been harder starting off tiny.
>>
>>36110229
>That doesn't mean they deserve sympathy or should be allowed to make excuses. Stop being a fucking child and get your shit together and lose the weight.

And I agree with that. I wasn't a complete hamplanet, most I was was 240 at 6'4 (29 bmi or so), but even so I had a hard time dropping that, but I did. My cousin was a skellie and we got in shape together and he says it was pretty easy for him, just ate pizza more regularly while we went to the gym.

I can't imagine how hard galaxies and planets must have it.
>>

>>
>>36110154
As an Auschwitz escapee, it is not by any means easy. You say "just have a whey milkshake", I say that I had to push my body into eating disgusting amounts of food to go past what I was used to. As a skelly, it was physically nauseating and occasionally painful to have to EAT BIG all the time and get those sweet optimal noob gainz.

>>
>>36110373

>>
>>36110344
1.Noob gains are noob gains, so you're not losing strength as a fatty, it's just more difficult to see progress through the lard. When fat is gone you will se the results, unless you were dum enough to cut without getting fit in the process.
2.both get stretch marks.
3.more fat cells is a myth. Same amount just a bit fucked up, I'm afraid. They will have problems regulating hormones regularly for the rest of fatties life, but this is also the case with skellies- Severe underweight leads to long term hormonal unbalance and potential sterility.
4.Loose skin. Yes. Nothing can make this ok, unless you got serious cash (or until you've saved up said cash).
5.Eating what you want? Neither skelly nor fatty get this. No skelly wants forcefeeding or they wouldn't be skellies. Fatties can still eat what they want, just smaller amounts.

Both have an equally hard time putting on muscle. OK maybe the fat guy has a little bit of an easier journey. But, he has to lose fat too, which the skinny guy does not.
The skinny guy will look "aesthetic" even with minimal effort, because any muscle they put on will immediately show, even with only 6 months of work. A 40%bf guy may drop down to 20%, go up to 1/2/3/4 and he will look marginally better than when they started out.

tldr skinny has an easier start, objectively and irrefutably.
>>
>>36110364
I don't understand why it's hard to eat 3000 calories? If I wasen't lean bulking right now I could easily eat 3500 calories in a day.

Literally all you need to do is add oil to stuff and you can have an extra 800kcal per day without even noticising.

People who have trouble bulking are absolute shitters who try to eat 3000 kcal in chicken breast in a single meal.
>>
>>36110724

(Which is not at all doable in 6 months) I forgot to add
>>
>>36110792
>but I'm getting better at it

If I don't constantly tell myself to eat more, I eat an average of 1500 calories a day.

Plus, weighing 130 at the start of my bulk (136 now) makes 3000 kcal seem like a big amount.
>>
I would probably bulk for 8 months, but it gives me such a fat face. fucking hate it.

Anything with too high fat content gives the same reaction as oils. Whey and other lean dairy products work fine but I need huge amounts to bulk up the calorie amount. a whole 800 gr tub of yoghurt is just 600 cals and with added stuff I can bulk it to 1200 at a push, but then I'm full of that stuff half the day.
>>
>>36110848
Sheesh anon didn't realize you were that advanced of a skeleton

Try getting a taste for fried meats to get dat protein and calories
>>
It depends whether you find it easier to bulk or cut. Not a person on the planet has started by being both skinny and fat so this question is like whats more painful childbirth or having your testicles stomped. You ain't gonna get an answer here OP. Either way, both are probably going to be hard if you need to adjust to a new life of dieting properly and training.

Hunger and appetite are different things if you've been a fatty bombom all your life though. I got fat as a kid because I was a boredom eater and even now whenever I take 5 minutes to game or watch a series, I already start craving.

>>
>>36109948
>breathing less air is less effort than breathing more air
>smoking less cigarettes is less effort than smoking more
>drinking less alcohol is less effort than drinking more

Eating is an addiction to a lot of people. In order to break that addiction, you can either use drugs, or you can have a strong willpower. The problem is that fatties don't have that willpower to begin with, or else they wouldn't be fat.

I'm not making excuses for them. But you can't exactly say it's less effort to break an addiction. It's the same way with smokers. I'm not making excuses, but it is more difficult quitting smoking than it is to get the habit.

Of course, it's easier to stop eating/drinking/smoking if you never did it to excess to begin with.

>>
>>36109859
I can relate, it depends on fatness level but I was basically a few steps above skellington mode and I have to gorge on shitty food, all the time, milk, peanut butter, oats, milk, mixed nuts. what's the difference between fat and obese?
>>
>>36113077
You can be fat by just eating a few hundred extra calories a day and accumulate it over years and then easily fix that by changing small details of your diet.

Only way to be obese is to have an ACTUAL food addiction.
>>
>>36113105
For short people it is easy to get into clinical obese mode (bmi 30 and above) by eating 'normal' processed foods because their BMIs are so low that two 400 cal pizza slices will tip them far over their TDEE maintenance. If you do that stuff every day (which a lot of people do) you end up obese. Ignorance and processed foods create obesity, not 'addiction'.
