I have never used it myself, but it differs on your teeth. Dosage and whatnot. Some folks feel pain because they up the dosage, and others feel pain because they usenit more then once a month. The whole thing is unnatural imo, and that kinda thing does seem to fuck up the enamel in the long run (or whatever you call it). Dentists never really recommend it though, which probably said's something.
whitening kits are the roids for teeth. you need them to truly unlock your potential. they make your teeth very sensitive though.
but right now you can go mix peroxide and baking soda into a paste and scrub it in for a few minutes. it works.

Brushing your teeth with "whitening" toothpaste won't do shit (it's a marketing gimmick), it's all about the percentage of hydroxide staying on your enamel surface.
For actual results i recommend going to your dentist for tooth whitening. We use ~70% peroxide concentration gel which will burn your gums if used at home, we also apply a light or laser to increase the effect of the gel. This usually guarantees an average of 2 shade lightening (see pic). Results may vary among patients (some may get only 1 shade, others up to 4, but this happens rarely).
If you're a poorfag you can get home tooth whitening kits, these do offer some result, but not as good as the professional gel application.

And the 360 degree toothbrush and it has gotten my teeth whiter than they where before. Not super duper celebrity white but pretty white.
Also I've heard baking soda does wonders and it's kind of funny the toothpaste I use tastes like baking soda so there you go.

I can not say, but it will be expensive. If you have any stains on your teeth, professional oral hygiene will be priority (some stains will be removed using an Air-Flow system, special powder is used to "scrape off" the stains). After that whitening can begin. For the BEST results you will want to use a laser system (ZOOM for example). This will cost somewhere starting from 1000$ (depending on country/clinic/number of teeth/etc).

It can be usually done within 2-3 visits:
1st visit - tooth is prepared and a temporary crown is placed, impressions are taken for the clinic (if the tooth is too rotten and root canal treatment is needed, expect 1-2 more visits)
2nd visit - the metal frame is put on and the dentist checks if it fits alright
3rd visit - the metal frame is now with porcelain and it can be cemented on the tooth

I'm actually surprised this shit works. Whitening toothpaste used to be like snake oil to me but I actually noticed a difference. More important though is that other people noticed a difference. Of course, even though I was impressed at the difference and my teeth are still whiter than before, I've been using it so long that I'm thinking the same about my new teeth I did about my old teeth. Brush with sensodyne pronamel or similar. Whitening toothpastes don't do shit except burn your guns and the tissue inside your cheeks. Brush with baking soda every now and then. Make sure you floss!. If you use whitening products (strips, or better a tray from the dentist), and have sensitivity issues, you can get gel kam to help a bit. But seriously, whitening toothpastes are not good for your teeth.

I stole some crest whitestrips "professional clean" from walmart and used them, they worked well enough that i was getting a lot of comments from people about how nice my teeth looked, people were even getting self conscious about their own teeth talking to me
Anyways if you do decide to whiten you gotta do it once a year and a good tip to make them stay whiter longer is to drink coffee or chocolate through a straw so it dosent touch your teeth, also if you do eat chocolate or whatever make sure to brush right away

Also wanted to warn you, don't brush your teeth immediately after eating something super acidic, as the acid weakens your enamel and you can damage your teeth. Rinse with water, and wait a good 30 minutes before brushing them. And don't EVER buy a firm or medium hardness toothbrush. Soft is the only thing kind that won't ruin your gums .

Awful advice, especially if you have any sort of sensitive skin. With people who use whitening toothpastes, you can pull their cheek aside and often see white tissue sloughing off, which is cheek and gum tissue you've chemically burned off of your own mouth.

If it's really important to you, getting it done by a dentist is the best option. But weakening always comes with whitening, since you have remove a film of enamel.
