Should I just stop or better yet kill myself for using up squat racks
>>
>>36056495
No, you've only failed when you give up. Just keep at it, change something and keep going.
>>
>>36056519
I can't change when I've already fucked my hips so many timea that they're no longer salvageable
>>
>>36056495
what's you diet ?
are you a female ?
>>
>>36056539
My hips are fucked too, just do other exercises that don't irritate them
>>
>>36056573
Male at 170 cm at 63kg eating 3k calories and 200g protein a day.
>>
>>36056495
Literally how. I'm on my second weekof SS aand already close to all of those numbers.
>>
>>36056495
It's not really bad for a woman
>>
>>36056629
I don't know. I'm an absolute failure. I started at some weights. Added weight every sucessful workout. Went fine for a while. Then infinite stall on Bench and OHP. Slow but determined increase in DL. Squats gave me every possible injury there is and now just won't increase.

2 years wasted into nothing but developing hip problems. I really think I should kill myself, I'm not proficient at anything else.

>>36056630
I definitely should kill myself then

Man, no way that's two years. As the other guy mentioned with his two weeks.

I'm about 4.5 weeks of SS
>Bench 85kg
>Squat is 95kg (FULL fucking ass to grass)
>55kg OHP
>DL 130KG

I'm also a skinny piece of shit, you wouldn't tell i lift in the slightest. Are you a women?
>>
>>36056626
ok i am 173cm at 65kg so we are close in height /weight

first try switch to a 3X5 routine like greyskull lp
i was stuck at the begenning on my lift cause i am 30 yo and my muscles cant rest as much as needed in a 5X5 routine
try to use micro plate for oph and bench accessoirise with bodyweight exercice when stuck and don't lose hope you are gonna make it ^^

>>
>>36056820
again, I'm afraid I'm a disgrace to the entire male gender.

Please just tell me whether or not I should kill myself I'm fucking crying over here. I am the biggest failure in lifting that there has ever been. Weakest stats and with the injuries of weights three times my stats. I'm really lacking reasons to live right now
>>
>>36056842
really would've thought 3k cal would be enough. Especially considering that even snailgains should yield better lifts than what I currently got after 2 years.
>>
>>36056820
So you started with an empty bar and followed the program?
>>
>>36056495

You will still look and feel better if you weren't lifting, so continue lifting. Just accept yourself as you are and reduce gym time to bare minimum. It's what I did anyway

Why are you crying for? at least you are going out there and lifting and making something of yourself. I don't mean to be a cunt but have you had your test checked? Sure I've been on SS for 4.5 weeks, but i come from a construction which i also did demolition half my life, walking around with 50kg and pushing heavy as fuck wheelbarrows was of the normal and nothing special.

Funny thing is i am 6ft, 75kg and eat about the same amount of protein and about 2600 calories (I don't work at the moment) otherwise I'd up it to 5~k.

That's 400 calories over my TDEE.
>>
You should definitely eat more, and start a strength training program of any kind. Do singles and doubles as well, increase the ability of your CNS. Don't you fucking dare to give up.
>>
>>36056880
I dont recall; think I started with something like
Squat 50kg
OHP 20kg(bar)
Bench 40kg
DL 70kg

>>36056929
I've done SL 5x5
>>
>>36056495
how many calories and protein do you eat?

Okay, then you should do 5/3/1 for 2 month, after that texas method for another 2 month. Anyway, focus on strength and eat a shitload of food, and do not care, if you are getting a little fat at the same time.

You are not eating enough. Probably overestimating your intake or underestimating your TDEE.

Remember that food labels and even the protein powder labels are estimates. So you might be fucking that up. Also cooked and uncooked values of food are different. Uncooked 100g rice worth around 76g in carbs, when cooked it becomes 300 to 400g as it absorbs the water.

Source: I'm bulking on 3000 calories at 76kg and still gaining weight while doing Turco-Bulgarian Method Weightlifting Program.
>>
>>36057272
If that's the case how do I accurately count my intake

>>36056495
Kek op I'm in the same boat, same lifts except my bench is 10kg higher. Anyone got any help for being /weakcunt/? I'm 18, been lifting since 16, weight has gone from 60kg-74kg,(at 6ft) aesthetically big improvements, but my lifts are literal woman-tier. Worth mentioning I was a curlbro for 1 year though.
>>
>>36057282
Increase your intake, see what happens. Also keep measuring. Increase it like 500 calories at a time and check weekly if you're gaining or not if you did everything correctly you should have had gained around 1kg.

>>36057292
He's not getting 3000. He thinks he's getting it but is not. 3000 calories is enough to bulk even me up, yet he's not gaining any weight despite being much lighter.
>>
>>36057332
Can I get your take on this then? For lunch and dinner I have 3dl Brown Rice with a chicken breast and broccoli. The chicken package says 1.2kg and there's 6 breasts. The broccoli pack says 600g and I take about half.

For breakfast 3-4 dl of oats with 3-4dl of milk. Then at some point in the day I usually finish that same milk flask, which is 1 liter.

Main calorie source is brown rice, sometimes I have whole-grain pasta instead. according my calculations 3dl should be about 900 calories. Approx 255g.
>>
>>36057386
how long have you been eating like this ?
>>
>>36057406
Would be lying if I said that's been my diet for the entire 2 years. Diet motivation has gone up and down, but I think I used to be around maybe 2500 give or take 200 up until past two months, for which this has been my diet.
>>
>>36057430
so have you gained any weight since this is your diet or not ? In 2 months you should have noticed some weightgain I guess ?

You are the epitome of everything wrong with /fit/. Stop fucking lying to impress some strangers online, dear fucking god, you are just messing with newcomers who don't know how lifting works, and will believe your bs.

If you squat 95kg ass to grass, bench 85kg and ohp 55kg in the first month of going to the gym, you are either on roids, some second coming of jesus-kind of guy, or bullshiting. Why do you feel the need to drive this guy into the ground?

>>36057471
>Diet motivation has gone up and down
>I think I used to be around maybe
>I don't own a scale

If you don't stick to your diet and don't have a scale to measure yourself it gets really hard to do this effectively without getting fat. If you go to a gym I bet they have a scale there so use that one, if you train at home invest into a fucking scale it's not that expensive. alternatively if you really can't get a scale get a fucking tapemeasure and measure your bodyparts each week.

>>
>>36057648
Because at this point I think I'm just addicted. Lifting has literally become a habit.
>>
>>36057530
You should tone it down a lot. What he claims is very much attainable. Remember that people's starting points are vastly different. An active guy who maybe played a sport can hit those numbers in 4 weeks on SS no prob. Let's say he started from benching 125, very reasonable for most healthy guys that aren't underweight and have been active at some point. SS calls for 3 5lb increases every two weeks on bench. In four weeks, he'd have 6 5lb increases. 30+ lb onto his bench. Now he's benching 155. It's not a lot at all. Again, there's huge variation in starting points and in progress on the program, but this is the basic idea. You have to eat and you have to add weight every time you can complete reps. If you're eating and sleeping, you should complete reps even at a small linear progression. It's definitely not a miraculous success what the other poster is claiming.

Are SS and SL pretty much the same for a semi beginner?
I'm one week into SL but I'm so OCD that I'm always fearful I could do something that is slightly more effective than what I'm doing
