I have a digital alarm clock, but the sleepytime app is really handy for calculating the best time to go to sleep or wake up.

Why do you need an app for that? Sleep cycles are 90 minutes, you can't calculate that in your head? Also if you're lifting you should just plain get as much sleep as you can regardless.
