/fit/, high bar or low bar? Which one do you prefer and why? Is one superior to the other? Or is there no difference?

High because it's real athletism.

>/fit/, high bar or low bar? Which one do you prefer and why?
Me? I do high bar.
Lowbar makes my lower back too easily tired and I can't recover enough between sessions. Since I switched to high bar my lower back feels great and my deadlift shot up from 150x3 to 150x5 in 3 weeks.
> Is one superior to the other?
High bar is superior if doing the classics
Low bar is superior if powerlifting
Both are just as good for general strength/aesthetics.
>Or is there no difference?
There are some differences in the mechanics of the movement but not nearly as huge as the internet makes them out to be. Pick one you like and stick with it.

Tank you

Low bar. If you're going to do high bar you may as well do front squats.
Do front squats and low bar back squats.

I prefer lowbar, but that's partially a mobility thing (I have serious movement restrictions in one ankle, courtesy of getting hung by it off a fence some years back) and partially a sport thing. Makes very little difference for the average person, something which holds true for most internet shitfights over exercise variations.

Low bar cuz got long legs and poor ankle mobility ( even with oly shoes on). My shoulders are also very flexible so low bar is best for me. When I do high bar the barbell always tracks over my foot

shit, this is what i do
Last time i hit 180kg x5 on low bar, finished it with some front squat 120kgx5

I do low bar cause well... I suck at high bar technique

>low bar & front squats
Rip.... is that you?

I squat twice a week and rotate. Use low bar to eliminate good mornings from a workout.
Which one is better for shit knees?

Low bar
>>35643734
I only do front squats and overhead squats becasue I'm not a fucking pussy

For most (like 90%) of people low bar.
