How does /fit/ meet people?
I would honestly do crossfit just for the community aspect if it didn't cost 100$ a month at least. I'm finishing up with uni and would prefer to stay social as a real human bean in society while also staying fit.
Are there any options other than crossfit? My buddy who does muay thai wants me to start going with him but I don't know how social that would be.
Any suggestions?

Bruh you're lifting for all the wrong reasons
Join a local anti refugee group in your community and make friends through working together to achieve political goals. You'll also make the world a better place.

I dont currently do crossfit. Lifting is fun and in the past I've been doing it at my uni gym. But I do it alone or with one buddy occasionally and I dont want that to be the extent of my socializing

>if it didn't cost 100$ a month
They actually make you pay money to fuck your shit up?

It's not wrong to lift for the culture and social interactions. Validation through your peers is a strong driving force.
Performance art is pretty dank son, theatre if you're /fit/ and can take yourself less seriously is a pussy feast.

>attain other hobby
>join group that meets for hobby

I'm not sure what that is but it sounds terminal.

so what hobbies would you suggest, anon?
The gym I go to is like its own little community, we know when and when not to talk to each other. But we all know each other, maybe go hangout with some gymbros

Then I wouldn't join for male friends, do a sport or more traditionally masculine hobby.
