Are we ever going to increase on our 2pl8 bench? Are we ever going to get over our bench dysmorphia?
>6'3, 200lbs
>feel like a weak bitch errytime binch 2pl8
>tfw never tested my max because homegym
>had a buddy over
>hit 2 plaet for 5 and 2.5 plaet for a single
felt good man
Unless you have been benching two plates for months then reaching two plates is quite a milestone for all lifters.
5'11 86kg
Max bench 5x5 57.5kg
>JUST
>5'9 75kg
>105kg 5x5 the past 2 weeks
Hard to progress given the smallest plates we have are 2.5kg

Well thats because you should focus on what you bench relative to your weight, of course you don't feel good benching 225lbs if you are 200lbs, thats barely 1.12 of your body weight. Aim for something like 1.5 or 1.7 and it will be alright.
Why is then entirety of fit weak as fuck? Like 1% can bench above 2 pl8
>mfw tried to bench for the first time late february last year
>mfw did 75 kg for 1 rep, weak as fuck
>mfw bench is at 130 kg now
>inb4 fatass
Went from 70kg to 80kg at 183 cm since i first touched the bench, ya'll weak

Was hitting 2.5pl8 when I was a lardass, cut doesn't help
Tfw passed 3pl8

What this guy said. Disregard the non-aesthetic muh powerlifters everywhere saying you are weak if you aren't at least 3 plating.
after so much work i unlocked 225x6 , not a week after i unlocked i dropped the bar in my chest bc i was being cocky , its being a month and still hurts alittle :/ , havent bench/ohp/row in a month
