I'm skinny and I was a little nervous going to the gym my first few days. You'll quickly learn that you don't care what other gymgoers think. You focus on your own progress, and that's what's important. Everyone else is there for themselves too. They might look over at you from time to time (everyone does this to everyone) but they aren't going to come up into your face and laugh. Plus, if you keep going to the gym consistently they'll notice how dedicated you are, and they'll respect you for that regardless of how you look.
