I've been doing 5/3/1 lately, it's alright but gains are pretty slow. I did the smolov squat program to get my squat over 400 and will probably run it again in the new year. My diet consists mostly of milk, pasta, eggs, spinach etc.

Try to lift 3-4 times a week minimum though usually cardio 4 times a week as well. Throw in pushups/situps alternating every night. Ruck once a week/bi-weekly

Currently ~63kg, up from ~59kg at the start of the month.

Lifting has been on and off for years but I only really restarted in proper about two months ago and only got onto a decent diet at the start of December.

Stats for 5 reps:
Bench: 80kg
Squat: 95kg
Deadlift: 110kg

Thanks man. I've been bigger and stronger before, but I always lose interest during relationships or when it's harder to get to the gym so it all slips away again. Trying to hold onto it this time, I got a lot more drive.

As for tan, I can't hold onto it for shit, I fake tan occasionally to try to balance it off, but I'm mostly just fucked on skin colour.

You did point out I look the same, though. I gain about a pound every 1.5-2 weeks strong. If I were to cut cardio in half (30 miles a week to 16), would I get more "gains", or would I just pack additional fat with muscle?

I don't want to lose my lean figure, so that's what I'm wondering. Especially with the new year coming, I'm looking to optimize my workouts

do 3x week maybe 4, weighted 2-4 sets of 6-10.
lunges are good anyway you should do them.

deadlifts and romanian deadlifts will help your glutes more than squats.

love handles can't be targeted just lose weight
