This is my almost 2 months progress of beginning lifting. Is this bad, normal or good? Both photos are similar weight 185 pounds.

My diet isn't great but it's nothing terrible. Probably not enough protein though. Isn't it just possible that i've gained muscle and lost fat? After all muscle weighs more.

If this were true you would still be able to see at least a little definition, by weight loss I meant fat loss, sorry if I wasn't clear. Read the sticky man, lower your calorie count for now and see how you get on
