Goals thread for 2016
Be 155 want 170
Bench 170 1RM want 200
Squat 155 1RM want 200
Dead lift 315 1RM want 405
Over head press 115 want 150

Have extremely strong back but weak everywhere else. Mediocre feels
>>
>>35389291
I want 1/2/3/4 on reps.
I've hit 1 plate ohp and 3 plate squats - once- before.
I want a 180kg deadline and 180kg bench.

I'm at about 80 odd kg bench and 155 dead right now.
>>
>>35389326
100 kg bench goal sorry
>>
>>35389291
>Have extremely strong back

Well maybe you should post how much you row then faggot, none of those are back exercises
>>
>>35389326
Not too familiar with kg. But I know it is a lot heavier than what I am working with. I am just gonna do Strong Lifts 5x5 until I get comfortable with heavier weight. I am really self conscious about my squats and bench. But my deadlift is the only thing I love doing because I am average.
>>
>>35389360
>Deadlift
I barbell row 150 5x5
>>
>>35389372
Please explain to me how you activate your back during a fucking deadlift, and how it's not your hamstrings pulling the weight.
>>
Did a lot of manual labor like HVAC and random maintenance growing up. Probably helped me be able to pick shit up now.
>>
>>35389291
>extremely strong back
>deadlifts 315
>>
>>35389361
Well , 150lbs ( my bw) is 70kg. So you only weigh 5lbs more. 100kg bench is like 220lbs odd. And 3 plate squats is like 140kg so lile 300lbs (I think -2.2lbs to kg? Im lazy google it) Our deadlifts are simular.
>>
>>35389394
Explain to me how I am able to lift heavy weight off the ground without visiting snap city, and can barely Squat my own body weight.
>>
You can't be squatting right if your dead is double your squat, sort that out, you should be able do squat at least 2plate just because of your didly ( try lowbar)
>>
>>35389394
Sit down, hip's in libe with knees. Squeeze bar, 'pull lats tight.
Push with feet off the floor and as you leave the floor imagine your humping the bar and extend back.
>>
4pl8 squat

20 minute 5k
>>
>>35389401
For someone who just got into working out I think it is good for my experience/size.
>>
>>35389433
I don't mean jump off the floor ether.. push with your feet I. E heels driven into the ground.
>>
>>35389291
183, wanna bulk up a bit more about 3 lbs and drop to 155-160 for cut,
bench 157.5 5rm to 2451rm
squat 185x5 to 3001rm
deadlift 250x8 to 350-400 1rm
ohp 100x5 to 135x5
>>
>>35389435
Good goals. I recommend elevation training after your runs. Like Sprint 30 secs then rest 30 secs. Helped me bring my 5k to 20 minutes and 10 k to 45minutes.
>>
>>35389431
I need to Google this lowbar. But man I would feel less self conscious in the gym if I could squat two plates.
>>
>>35389416
Not him but that's not really heavy and if you're using your back to deadlift you're doing it wrong
>>
>>35389562
If it isn't back, then why are my legs shit when I squat. Like it is hard to just do 1 rep of 155.
>>
>>35389291
Uhhh so far:

Get squat from 0kg to where I used to be, improve my deadlift and make good gains on bench and ohp.

I recently squatted 50kgx5 so only 100kg to add to where I was :D

>>35389291
Please step up your goals, if you set your sights low you will never hit anything very high
>>
Guys, i have been lifting for 3 months and what i've realized so far is that everything is so unbalanced, for example:

DL: 130kg 1rm think thats 287lbs
Squat: havent tried a 1rm but i do 50kgx8x3 usually
Bench: 60kg 1rm

Is this normal? I mean that DL is your strongest exercise?
>>
>>35389291
Why is your squat so week? It may be a meme but you need to do SS
>>
>>35389911
nothing will help until you stop watching filthy frank and being a beta faggot
>>
>>35389291
170lbs-180lbs
Bench 210 aim for 250
Squat 275 aim for 315
Deadlift 350 aim for 405

>Drop from 207 to 180lbs
>Bench 165 to 225 for reps
>OHP 110 to 150
>Squat 185 to 275
>Deadlift 265 to 375

I'd love to have those numbers, doubt I can achieve those in a year's time as I want to lose weight and get much stronger.
does /fit/ think this is doable?
