NEVER taken me more than 4-5 days to enter ketosis.

As for being 'fully keto adapted' - I don't even know what that means... but I've always found fat burning starts once glycogen stores are depleted - which barely takes a couple of days.

again, has never taken me anywhere near as long as that to start burning fat. I'm not convinced it will stick with you for life if you go back to consuming lots of carbs.

although, I've never needed to be in ketosis for that long, sounds like if I where then I would have 'cured' the insulin resistance problem? i.e. no more yo-yoing off and on of keto? would be nice!

I think I've confused 'being in ketosis' with 'keto-adapted' which is what you're talking about.

When you are keto adapted your body runs on both keystones and glycogen. You liver still produces glycogen but you are predominantly running on ketones.

I plan on maintaining this till my trunk is lean again..

It has without exaggeration been the only approach that has resulted in substantial fat loss.

I have been taking certain supplements suggested to help such as;
Lucine, Carnosine, Citruline:Malate, ALCAR, Niacin, Taurine, Magnesium Glycinate , Green Tea Extract, Pterostilbene and Colostrum for those Proline Rich Poly Peptieds, Lactoferin and IgG

Been keeping Cal intake right around 2k with some IF days.

I won't remain on it strictly once I have reached the goal.
