fat2fit here, is there no way for me to have a normal body and look good without clothes?

How does one prevent loose skin?
>>
How fat are you?
I cut from 400 to 190, but don't look as bad as the OP pic.
>>
get surgery and remove your nipples, negative gyno

You can mitigate some of the loose skin if you start losing weight slowly. Losing weight too fast causes this but it's easier said than done. Basically huge amounts of patience on your side fora about a year, year and a half before you start noticing changes.

Get surgery. You can't prevent loose skin if you used to be a whale.

if you have diabetes and are dying, its great, but ill take my time and loose 50-100 lbs a year and save my skin

What's with your weird wrists, tiny hands, and obvious use of the liquify tool?
>>
>>35364537
Doesn't work like that, chummer. It isn't about taking longer, otherwise 4 years later there would be shrinkage. There's hardly anyone who's lost that kind of weight without the loose skin. It's the price of letting yourself become such a colossal hambeast in the first place.

I lost 200lbs over several years and look like that.

After a certain threshold, it doesn't matter how fast you lose it. Skin can only recover so much.

Full body lifts are roughly $30,000.

Get swole so your muscles fill out the skin. Its the only way

I don't agree with some people saying to lose it slowly. I've seen pictures of people that lost 150-200 lbs over years and they still end up with loose skin.
I think >>35364418 is right about it being too late for many people if you've gotten this big. Some people are very, very lucky and end up with not too much and I personally believe it's mostly about genetics. I've also heard how fast you gained the weight, how long you've been this obese and how young you are play a large role in it, which sound right as well.

If you want to be as careful as possible, then you could listen to people saying to lose it slowly if you believe it. Other things I've heard around is to use a natural bristle brush to exfoliate the skin daily called dry brushing, use lotions on your body to keep the skin moisturized (most people use Palmer's cocoa butter and they even make one called firming butter), get lots of protein, omega-3 from things like salmon and walnuts and of course making sure you drink a lot of water a day. However, I suggest you start saving up little bits of money if you can to be on the safe side.

Losing weight quickly requires a large deficit which usually results in the loss of muscle mass which holds the skin to the body. This results in a more droopy appearance which amplifies the already existing loose skin problem.

Also the skin adapts, yet does so very slowly. This is why many medical health professionals recommend waiting two years at 10% body fat before you consider surgery. Of course in some areas the skin won't ever snap back fully after being stretched too far (doesn't mean in won't partially).

Keep losing weight, you're likely still carrying a lot more fat than you think. Also make sure you lift, get enough protein, and don't lose weight too quickly (huge deficits/extended fasts)..

I went from like 260 to 180 in...9-10 months and I had none, just those ugly ass stretch marks serving as a reminder that I turned myself into an ogre at some point in my life.

tbh_fam I'd rather be chubby than have that freaky loose skin going on. I hate to say it but I'm certain that's pretty much always a turnoff when you get naked with a cutie. Must make for some weird tension in the bedroom.. So I'd rather be chubby (maybe the HW powerlifter look?) than have the horror movie skin. Glad I never let myself get so fat.

Not becoming a land whale in the first place

This.

If you're young enough that your skin is still very elastic then you won't have much of a problem, but if you're even in your 30's then you're more or less screwed. Your loose skin will however serve as a reminder to never allow yourself to become a fatass again.
