/fit/ what is your opinion on creatine?
Meme supplement.
>>35359481
It's so cheap, and no proven negative side effects so there is no reason not to take it
>>35359481
It's one of the only effective supplements. But you probably don't need it.

http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/12701815
>Of the approximately 300 studies that have evaluated the potential ergogenic value of creatine supplementation, about 70% of these studies report statistically significant results while remaining studies generally report non-significant gains in performance.
>For example, short-term creatine supplementation has been reported to improve maximal power/strength (5-15%), work performed during sets of maximal effort muscle contractions (5-15%), single-effort sprint performance (1-5%), and work performed during repetitive sprint performance (5-15%). Moreover, creatine supplementation during training has been reported to promote significantly greater gains in strength, fat free mass, and performance primarily of high intensity exercise tasks.
>cheap
>no proven side effects
>good for gains
Why wouldn't you be on creatine? It's like you hate being swole or something.
And don't give me that hair loss bullshit. That's because you have shit genetics.

/fit/ what do you think about pic?

It's fucking creatine. Creatine monohydrate is creatine monohydrate.

just because one creatine monohydrate is more expensive than another doesnt mean that it is better.

Your fucking life is a meme
>>35359481

Creatine fags are strong here
It's funny because once they get off their precious little supplement, they shrink like crazy. Lol. They literally need that white powder to create the illusion they have serious gains.
I feel sorry for them. They probably have ugly faces so they use creatine to make up for it.
>>35359489

WOooooooaahh what are you guys saying? Does creatine causes hair loss? Cause I just bought my first creatine a week ago and I am already loosing hairs since like I was 17 (i'm 23) now?

>>35361132
not quite, did a creatin "cycle" last year, thou I didnt do a second one (became to heavy/slow for my boxing style).
started at 80kg and went to 95kg, admittedly I did bloat, after stopping taking it I stablised at 84kg with some very good lean muscle gains
all that within less than 2 months.
>>35361087
>>35362129
>>35362926
No, it doesn't make you bald. I've been taking creatine since July, and this was one of my biggest fears, pic is me today.

This, stopped doing it cause of that. In 5 years when i dont care about my hair anymore Ill hop back on it.
>>35363028
>>35363040
It only speeds it up if you've already started, if you dont have the MPB gene or haven't even started it yet it shouldnt be an issue for you. My widows peak definitely reced a couple mm on both sides when I was using it for 3 months.
>was able to add more slightly more weight than without it
>seemed to recover faster
>hair started thinning noticeably faster
Stopped taking it. Not worth thin hair IMO. I'm going to lose it anyways because of shit genetics, but I certainly don't need the process sped up. Maybe if I was adding 25+ pounds to my lifts every time instead of 7-10, but nah.
just bought creatine yesterday, taken 5g today and 5g yesterday, we'll see what happens.
>>35359481
I used it for a while, never noticed a huge difference to be honest. Maybe 1 more rep on a set or maybe my heavier reps felt a little more stable but that's about it. Water weight wasn't a big issue for me either. Stopped taking it because it honestly wasn't worth remembering to take it every day.

>>35363051
uhm there's bad news for you bro
>>35363040
Maybe it doesn't thin, but sure looks like it shortened the hair
