Normally 90 euros.
My company pays half of that and even pays me back another 20 € due to some strange healthplan they got running.
So it's 25€ a month for some high class luxus studio with PTs, saunas, massages and whatnot.
Can't complain.

It's in the side of a cliff with a large window on the side of the mountain which looks over my entire town and over to mountains.
You get into the gym through a large slide and there's water slides 100feet tall for after lifting.

The cheapest gym in my area was £25/m until Puregym bought everyone up. They're also the only 24 hour option

Monopolization has been a good thing so far.

Meanwhile, down the road people pay $30 a month as a part of a yearly contract to go to LA Fitness. It's beyond packed with hamplanets on ellipticals.

Anyone around Culver City, CA who maybe has a power rack in their garage who could be my "gym?" All the gyms around here are either affordable but overcrowded and gross, or expensive but nice.

There should be a "rent my weights" web page where people with home gyms could make extra money.

25$ for full year except for July and August. College gym, small as fuck, but sufficient.

I think so. I'm half tempted to post on CL, but I'm afraid I'll get murdered or worse. Of course I'd sign a liability waiver and pay in cash. We wouldn't even have to see each other as long as I can get in.
>>
$30 a month for Anytime Fitness. Not the best gym, but I'm almost always the only person there lifting (there's usually one or two old people doing cardio and maybe some girl doing squats) and they have private restrooms with showers in them. Plus its right across the street from my work.

40 tax include CAD. Pretty sexy plus it's a crossfit gym so while I'm doing my own workout I get to watch the crossfitters do some really stupid shit.
>>
$10 a month. crunch fitness

it's actually a pretty good bargain

there's 2 squat racks, 2 benches, 2 deadlift areas, dumbbells up to 90 i think? 80% of the gym is cardio equipment and machines

can you fags at least post pics of your gyms?

whats the problem???????
>>
£15.99/month

24 hours, literally exactly 9 seconds away from my front door directly on the other side of the road.

Only 1 rack and 1 cage, but due to aforementioned proximity, I usually go at 1am and they're both empty.

Das it mane

How is the ymca for lifting? Thinking about joining.
>>
>>35321383
it really depends on the facility. they typically have large machine rooms and small free weight rooms. the one over here has a free weight room with 2 squat racks, 3 benches w/ barbell, a few free benches, 2 smith machines (lol), dumbells, retard machines, a leg press, circuit machines, and that calf thingy plus a bunch of dumbbells. it's pretty cramped but it's almost always really empty (already picking back up for new years, fuck me) but I like being alone so it's great. I would suggest the Y but you really need to go look for yourself
>>
>>35321383
>>35321418

I also have a Y member ship. My fee is 52 fucking dollars a month. The only reason why I do it though, is because the weight room at the Y is pretty empty. No one really gets a Y membership (the price) to use the weights.
Most people at the facility use it for toddler / preschool. It's more of a family thing. So this gives me access to the weight room and pool, which for the most part, I don't have to wait around for any equipment.

THAT being said, the weight room is shit compared to other YMCA's. And especially compared to real gyms. It's very close to my house and sort of on the way to work, so I put up with it...it's a tradeoff. But the 2nd poster is right, check out your Y first. and ask when the busiest time are and see if that will fit in your schedule.
>>
275 Argentinian pesos a month, around 21 dollars

>>
>>35308484
It's included with my apartment.
It's a small gym, not a lot of equipment. No bench press but they do have a machine and a flat bench for dumbell press. No squat rack, but I've got a bad knee atm anyway. They do have a leg extension machine.
Most shitty part is nobody's there. I was never big on socializing at the gym, but I just started my real "adult" life and now my social life is gone. Moved to a new city with no friends, gym could offer opportunities for socializing but nope.
>>
>>35309651

>>
$9 CAD per month. There's nothing fancy about it (no showers or water fountain) but it has all the equipment I would ever need and then some, so I'm a happy camper.
>>
>>35321509
Yea I mentioned it in my post. I swim about 2 -3 times a week. The pool is heated to a very nice 82 degrees, so I love it. THat being said, without the pool, and without it being pretty empty in the gym, I'd probably go for a cheaper gym. 52 bucks a month is pretty steep
