Honestly though, the new movie was definitely better than the prequels. I'd even put it above Jedi.
dude we all knew Han Solo is killed by his son, Kylo Ren. Luke doesn't say anything and has 30 seconds of screentime. Kylo Ren survives the explosion at the end, leaving it set up for him to be the villain in the next movie.

Honestly, Han solo dying wasn't that big of a deal, and was pretty predictable since his son just being like "oh man I love you dad! Screw the dark side!" out of nowhere for no reason was completely out of the question. They didn't build up their relationship at all during the movie
